This is in fact something I've been doing for years now at both small local events and big events like PAX. This is also like the 3rd time in the past month that I've been tagged into a post of someone wishing that people should do this so I feel like something people should start doing already.

As Order of the Sinking Star is coming out next month, in advance of review coverage coming in I wanted to add one thing to my last statement about the game: bsky.app/profile/drak... (note: at that time I didn’t have a separate personal account)
So, “Order of the Sinking Star” by Thekla was just announced, which takes several small free games (two of which are mine) and gives them a major graphical upgrade and mashes up their rulesets. I haven’t been very involved but it’s a great concept and looks cool.

Once again, the easiest way to communicate this to people who don’t have time to stay up to date on everything: An LLM will give you the answer *it thinks you are most likely to accept.* This is very problematic when you consider LLMs are fundamentally sycophantic in their goal to please humans.
feels like a lot of teaching people about LLM tech is now making sure that they understand that it isn't a system that collates and produces information, it sorts noise into familiar patterns, which resembles information hard to get that across to people who use it as a search engine

Hi all! Kira has been progressively getting worse since discharge, and as I am out of all options financially I have opened a Gofundme as a few have suggested to do. Please share if you can, and thank you so much if you are able to help! (All info on the fundme page) gofund.me/cba3a7bb1

It’s easy to become enamoured with your own potential and save yourself for “bigger things” than put effort into building wonderful experiences for those immediately around you. You don’t get to enjoy your “legacy” because you’ll be dead, so maybe it’s time to focus on where we are today.

big thanks to @haraiva.bsky.social for organising the jam and indirectly convincing me to give something I normally wouldn't a try!

I will never forget @xoxofest.com, despite only attending once. The vibes were unlike anything, and if anything, it's exactly what US games events miss in 2026. XOXO was focused, it had soul, it was challenging and playful - it was the polar opposite of the giant smooth mega-events games has now.
One last thing before we go. Today, after 2+ (or 10+??) years of work, we’re launching XOXO Explore, a complete archive of all eight years of the festival. xoxofest.com

We’re still hiring someone to come own the video medium for @ngrok.com. This level of unhinged behaviour extremely encouraged.
“Are you asking because you’re considering doing it?” What?! No, no of course not. That would be mad. I’m asking because… because uh…

mm. While reading this i am thinking about a piece that @mariaa.bsky.social linked yesterday to by @tarakiyee.bsky.social on the Audrey Lorde quote that "the masters tools will never dismantle the master's house", and it's original context. tarakiyee.com/on-the-enshi...
