I've got a friend who's the most environmentally active person I know. From a distance, you might wonder how that translates into actions. Today we stopped by her house, and got to see the actions up close. These water tubes help mitigate household temperature in winter and summer. Neat.

I am a complicated mashup of my dad's cop sensitivities (cynicism, suspicion and mistrust) and my mom's deep humanity and compassion. It's like they're battling it out on my shoulders with every interaction.
