It's very hard to express how much the 00s era bioware meant to me, basically every game they made had a huge impact on my life at the time. They haven't been what they were for a long time, but it's still rough to see them go. The dawn is especially cruel this morning.

becoming best friends with the shinra seventh infantry and the shinra middle manager and we all love zack and cissnei and hell even rufus you're not so bad we can work together its like. what is this story even about anymore. sephiroth was not the villain of ff7! he was just the bill coming due

i will very much enjoy ff7r3's combat and queen's blood but the way this story is pulling into the final station after how cool remake/intermission were seems so disappointing. they're so terrified of upsetting fans they can't even remember cissnei is Evil. it's just clap because you recognise her

You ever think about how resource management is fundamental to rpgs and yet it's the first thing that gets removed for "quality of life" concerns

The bloody ghost of my ancestor Lt. John Bacon, shot dead by a redcoat musket during the Battles of Lexington and Concord on April 19th, 1775, appeared at the side of my bed last night and said anyone can be American as long as they aren’t English

Almost always when you google a technicial problem and the first result is a forum post or reddit thread of the issue - there's one asshole responding with just google it and a link to a google search (or similar). I did asshole! Thats how I got here.

Started letter writing to friends and family as a hobby to practice my handwriting, it's been pretty rewarding so far. I wish I had cool foreign pen pals though.

Trying to find a local book club I vibe with, but all the interesting ones double as a knitting circle so I don't think they'd be very pleased to see me there
