right wing bigots have admitted - the “trans women in bathrooms” issue - the “trans women in sports” issue and - the “trans kids getting surgery” issue were all MADE UP TO TAKE OUR RIGHTS AWAY are you paying attention?

I find it so interesting yet so sad that so many of my peers have turned to ChatGPT to do things like writing emails. And I find it equally fascinating that they push me to do it too, even after I have clearly stated my position on AI use. The chatbot doesn’t speak for me. I do.

i’ve been thinking of what could even be said about such a tragedy. someone said it best that trans people are “born so late and die so young”. we uproot our lives and transition and live more life than anyone else ever does and society punishes us for it. we deserve better

would anyone be interested in either something written or podcast about the great transgender migration that's going on right now that no one is really talking about. i feel like no one outside of the trans community knows about this at all

The New York Times writes far more stories about the trans community than any other US print outlet, and is the least likely to quote a trans person when it does. Seems bad?

Is the New York Times more biased than other major US news organizations that cover the trans community? Early data from our 2026 news tracker suggests they are. Of the 10 outlets we've been tracking, NYT had the fewest stories that quoted a trans person of them all. More here:

Through her founding of the Disability Visibility Project, Alice Wong amplified the lived experiences and stories of people with disabilities. In the wake of her passing last year, her advocacy continues to shape national conversations around accessibility and the rights of disabled people.

the democrats deliberately boosted the candidacy of donald trump and ran status-quo empty suits against him and those brilliant strategies got the US two trump terms. a few oddly still have the audacity to blame the left for their lack of enthusiasm in cheering on these obviously awful plans

It is really infuriating to see how misogyny really does unite men across the sociopolitical spectrum. And, in so far as the Epstein files go, they sort women into two categories: fuckable or irrelevant. When they near a hint of accountability they complain about not being able to make women prey.

im sorry but we just spent the last decade being told the biggest issues were pronouns in emails and a trans kid playing jv lacrosse if you said these things and got paid for it then you need to go away. literally if “woke mind virus” is something youve ever said unironically you need to go away

It is my personal belief that the Gay Liberation movement of the past needs to be reignited. The modern Pride movement is a great start, but ultimately tries to appease this oppressive society rather than seeking to liberate ourselves from it. There’s no appeasing fascists. Don’t even try.

Honestly, the worst part about planning a queer wedding is having to account for bigotry. We can’t just hire *any* photographer, caterer, dress designer, officiant, or any other kind of professional. We can’t just choose any venue. And we certainly cannot include everyone in our lives either.

All but one person in my partner’s family is allowed to attend. I feel like such a fucking asshole being able to invite aunts, uncles, and cousins as every sanguinary family member of hers will remain cut off due to their bigotry. Fuck queerphobia. Fuck transphobia.

My worst nightmare would be my partner experiencing transphobia on her wedding day. Everything has to be shaped around this. Not because we did anything wrong, but simply because we live differently than the majority. We aren’t going to hide the queerness of our lives for other people.

Made the mistake of opening Facebook to look at the queer communities of a few cities that I’m looking to move to for grad school. I genuinely think that there’s a 25%-30% contingent of the US population that would have queer, trans, and gender diverse people executed on the spot.

I share this in hopes that our story motivates others to do better. Either by seeing themselves in me or through sympathy. The saddest part in all of this is that I know that nothing is going to change the minds of everyone. That there will be people so blinded by hate.

But how to we defy this culture of hate that is so embedded in American society? I suppose that’s what my life’s work will be about. That and studying the marginalized population themselves.

My wife-to-be is not a perverted freak. She doesn’t want access to women’s spaces because she’s secretly a man wanting to harm people. She wants to be there because A) she’s a woman and desires to be recognized as such and B) she’s much less likely to face violence or harassment in women’s spaces.

She’s probably going to have to leave all but one person in her blood family simply because she decided that she’d rather be herself than die wondering what her version of best self looks like.

It’s just hard sometimes to reconcile with the fact that this is the world that we live in. That we can’t enjoy the same pleasures in life as people of the sanctioned social groups can. That there are people spending billions of dollars to maintain and advocating this system of oppression.

There are foods we’ll never get to try, countries we could never visit, natural wonders we could never visit, family members that will never hear from us again, and a constant looming sense of impending danger that we face simply because we chose to be ourselves and defied social norms.

Victim blaming, unsavory pictures of drag queens with children (not doing anything inherently wrong besides wearing drag), TERF propaganda about the so-called dangers of trans inclusion in women’s spaces, calls for violence against queer people, and claims about how no kid could possibly be queer.

I grew up as a privileged cis white boy. This kind of group-based violence was something I never had to become accustomed to. It’s been so jarring, having since come out as pansexual and looking to marry an openly transgender woman, to witness the types of vitriol we are supposed to tolerate.

For example, news reported on the temporary closure of a queer youth shelter due to alleged threats. After a police investigation, the threats were not deemed as credible and not substantial enough to warrant police action. The replies? Just awful.

Trump says the people who “thought Epstein was the greatest guy on earth, only to drop him like a dog when things got too HOT” are “sleazebags.” Trump is criticizing people who…stopped hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein?

Transition is a matter of free will and freedom. Trans people are going to do it anyway and you cannot stop them. We are full human beings with the right to decide our lives for ourselves and no one has a right to stand in the way of that.

one of the main reasons trans healthcare moved away from strict gatekeeping and toward informed consent & GAC is that trans ppl who were denied the means to transition would simply seek it out elsewhere
