If a foreign leader in, say, the United Kingdom or Germany gave batshit crazy speeches featuring comments about a political ally’s ass, the New York Times would write a big story about the leader’s mental state. But when it happens in the U.S., the Times doesn’t. Why is that?

Michigan law prohibits giving anything of value to induce someone to vote a particular way. Federal law also prohibits paying people to vote or register to vote. We hope Michigan election authorities investigate. Source: The Detroit News.

As a teacher I don't understand why teachers' unions do not call for strikes after school shootings. Teachers who support some type of gun control outnumber the teachers who don't. Those who don't support sensible gun laws can cover striking teachers' classes.

Responding to a man who shouted "I love you!" JD Vance responded, "I love you too, in a platonic way. I'm not James Tallarico." Wonder why he didn't say, "I'm not Scott Bessent?" If being gay isn't a problem for the GOP why not mention an openly gay GOP man? Maybe Tallarico more Vance's type.

Fox News hosts saying on air the GOP will lose the House is not v a concession. They are not saying the inevitable. They are using fear mongering to urge Republicans to vote. Democrats cannot stay home because they think Dems will win. I don't trust the polls that show Dems will win.

Enough with the bs q's in debates. GOP candidates have to answer Do you agree with livestream executions? Do you support buying diesel from Putin? Do you support US ambassadors demanding bailout money from donors? Do you support Kushner and Witkoff negotiating with Lukoil instead of Putin to end

I am not convinced a blue wave will happen because of Democratic voters who wring their hands over progressives and Democratic Socialist candidates. They're convinced they won't win and blame defund the police, even though it's not realistic. These voters won't vote, then say see when they lose.
