Trump: "Please right your right hand. I pledge to the greatest president in the history of the United States. That loves us so much he can't even breath. That I will go out with my family, my friends, I'll do it any way - I don't care if I'm registered or not, I'm going to try to cheat like hell..."

So the GOP is celebrating a guy who created a darknet marketplace for heroin and meth, and put out multiple muder-for-hire contacts to conceal his crimes.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

LMAO this guy is being featured at Trumpapalooza because Trump pardoned him

Katie Phang tries to interview Republican convention attendees. They avoid her, and one lets the secret slip: They’re “not allowed” to speak with the media.

BREAKING: Jimmy Kimmel says his interview with Texas Senate candidate James Talarico will NOT air on ABC due to threats from Trump’s FCC. The interview will instead be posted to YouTube.

So corrupt - and now Senator Moody played key role: "The grand jury also concluded that Ashley Moody, who was the attorney general at the time, was aware of the plans to divert the $10 million to Hope Florida and "authorized" her former chief deputy, John Guard, to sign the settlement agreement."

"the money, which was supposed to be used to provide health insurance for poor children, was instead hastily passed through multiple organizations before eventually landing in the bank accounts of two political action committees and the Republican Party of Florida." www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/g...

I wonder why 90 days. Couldn’t be because the midterms are in… 74 days, right? Right? Apparently communist price controls are fine when you’re trying to get votes. Who knew?

What folks miss is MAGA doesn't care if people think Trump cheated for the 1900th time. What worries is the image of an 80 yr old man wildly dependent on a clincially fangirlish 30-something who he appears to use as a kind of human emotional support blanket as his faculties & political power fade.

Honestly, at this point, Democrats should be thrilled with this -- Miller has set himself on fire and if the GOP wants to hold him close, so be it.

Mike Johnson tells Politico that he's standing behind Republican Max Miller — despite the "serious" domestic abuse allegations against him.

Mitch McConnell is one of the very worst Americans of this century, a force of selfishness and spite who laid waste to our political institutions and social stability like no foreign enemy ever could.

Don Moynihan@donmoyn.bsky.social

Don't want to speak ill of the dead, so getting this Mitch McConnell take out now. He saw Trump with complete clarity, as a danger to America, but protected him anyway. Perhaps more than anyone, he had the power to end Trumpism, but chose party over country. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/jan-6-and-...

Good Lord man … Ossoff has “it” This is good.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Ossoff: "Just think, 250 years on, what the Founders would see if they visited us today. *crowd groans* But wait -- they would see that slavery had been abolished. They would see that Americans without land, and then women, and then the descendants of slaves had secured voting rights ... "

Talarico: I was required by law to report any indication there was abuse at home, and I would hope that the top law enforcement official in Texas would be held to the same standard as a middle school teacher. Ken Paxton had the opportunity to protect a child, but instead he protected a predator

Buttigieg: We sit in a in a country that's got the wrong number of people on the Supreme Court, possibly the wrong number of representatives in the House of Representatives. And by the way, when you consider the disenfranchisement of the people of DC, we have the wrong number of states in the US

Trump is completely unhinged. He promised to lower costs. Instead, his tariffs, health care cuts, and war with Iran have sent prices soaring. While Americans struggle to pay their bills, he's focused on settling scores and chasing crazy conspiracy theories. Enough is enough.

Democrats under Johnson achieved the greatest expansion of the social safety net since the original New Deal, and white voters have gone Republican in every presidential election since then, because those same Democrats also passed the civil rights acts.

Democrats under Clinton pushed universal health care and white voters responded by putting Republicans in charge. Under Obama took steps toward universal health care with Medicaid expansion, and white voters responded with the Tea Party.

Iran did not accept our initial offer ( whatever that was, still have not seen) so we just back up and go home. Iran still controls the straits, has 400kg of HEU, missiles and drones. US has achieved little to date in this war, spent $100 billion(?) and looks weaker than ever.
