Can we bring back hiring gymnasts to do stunts in action movies? I miss when people would get shot and then do a backflip 🅱️🎥

We did a bracket for March Badness, a Trashketball tournament where we watch bad movies about basketball or starring basketball players and it felt like self-inflicted psychic damage. 🅱️📽️

Skatetown, USA is the definition of a "vibes" movie if the vibes you want are "100 mins of endless Disco Roller Skating" with geriatric skaters, horny teens, and even a Bald Nerd™ on his honeymoon at the roller rink. Also Patrick Swayze's first roll (role get it)! The 70s seemed awesome 🅱️📽️

What if Santa was the president? What if Santa was a meathead? What if a tech bro wrote a script of Santa as the president & runs an Amazon warehouse? What if Jeff Bezos was Santa Claus? How does something so expensive look so cheap!? How many hidden bottles of The Rock’s piss can you spot? 🅱️📽️

Was lucky enough to see a screening of a previously unseen cut of Albert Pyun's CAPTAIN AMERICA (1990) that is *wildly* different from the theatrical release and the DC. This version is less a superhero film, more of a downbeat 70's political paranoia thriller. Like THE PARALLAX VIEW but with Cap

Next time you have an idea that seems too crazy, just remember that John Woo once walked into an office and said "I wanna make a movie where Nick Cage plays John Travolta playing Nick Cage, and John Travolta plays Nick Cage playing John Travolta," and someone wrote him a check for 80 million dollars

In the 1980s, Larry Cohen tried his hand at a 1950s-style monster b-movie. Q: The Winged Serpent is about Aztec god Quetzalcoatl who returns to roost at the Empire State Building, while Michael Moriarty runs around hamming it up in the streets below, playing piano and robbing jewelry stores 🅱️📽️

B-Movie action films in the 80s and 90s didn’t need deep plots. You just had to get from Point A (introducing the hero) to Point B (exploding everything). The rest? Pure filler. The hero’s background? Doesn’t matter. The villain’s motivation? Who cares.

Does anybody remember the obscure cartoon Cadillacs and Dinosaurs? It was based on the video game. Which was based on the comic book. Such a bizarre choice for children’s television and under appreciated. Set in 2627, the world has “gone wild” and Dinosaurs are back. For some reason.

There aren't enough fun, unconventional "buddy cop" animated shows like Fillmore! (Buddy Hall Monitors) or Ozzy & Drix (Buddy Immune System) or even Bonkers (Buddy Cops but with a TOON). Hopefully, we'll someday get a killer animation of CHEW

2010’s COOL DOG really undersells just how f’n cool this dog is. He’s so cool he has a DIEGETIC theme song. Cool Dog is so cool, he listens to his own theme song on the radio. Cool Dog is so fucking cool he does a triple jump in checkers. A TRIPLE JUMP! Such a fucking Cool ass Dog 🅱️📽️

Cool Dog throws down a few bucks for hot dogs, so cool. Cool Dog can also DRIVE!? And play the PIANO? The coolest. My fav is when dog puppet hands change the TV remote or when they just hold fake dog paws over Cool Dog’s face when he’s embarrassed. Which is rare because he’s so fuckin cool. 🅱️📽️

I miss synergistic television crossover events. Remember when every show on TGIF did an episode where they went to Disneyland? They should have American Dad, the Inside the NBA guys, and the entire AEW roster get fooled by The Carbonaro Effect or something

DOA: Dead or Alive (2006) which is probably the “best” or closest film adaptation of a video game property. Crazy b-movie energy, complete with Eric Roberts
