I recently spent 4 wks in McAlester, OK. Locals can't pay electricity bills due to rate increases. A $50B data center project is going in which will put an enormous demand on the electric grid, yet the Data Center is being given a 25-year break on property taxes while people's power is cut off.

I've been looking at the supposed 9-point Democratic polling lead for the upcoming midterm elections. I crunched some numbers and can only conclude that we all gotta vote. This election is NOT in the bag.

I just got this movie promotion from Netflix: "Disoriented travelers find themselves trapped in a mysterious town with no exit, where malevolent forces toy with their minds and hunt them by night." It sounds to me just like my life under the Trump administration. I'll pass on both.

I just don't believe the polls. Republicans being have been told how to answer pollsters. Trump is a life-long conman. I think he's running another con, so please, please, please vote, especially young people. You will inherit the mess my generation has created.

I live in Nevada. Wife and I voted early by ballot drop-off. We went to the Clerk's office. Neighbor dropped hers off in a local drop box. All three of us got emails within 2 days saying our ballots had been received. SO COOL. Vote like our democracy depends upon it.
