Today, I introduced the Reimagining Safety Act, community-led legislation that would dismantle DHS, Melt ICE, and create a new human- and community-centered federal Department of Community Safety to promote collective care and well-being.

Every person dead, every family separated, every community terrorized, and every dissenter targeted and persecuted. There’s more than a million reasons to dismantle DHS.
