I find it hilarious that I have clients who will not allow me to use em dashes at all in their work because they think even one is an AI tell. Overuse, I get it. But one well-used punc mark is kinda sad. I think it's fear-driven because they don't understand it so in their mind, best to avoid.

Yesterday, we had our invertebrate and zooplankton ID lab for the ENVS 3450 Aquatic Environments course. It is always neat to see those important little critters up close! This one is a Daphnia, a cladoceran zooplankton species, carrying around some eggs.
