If James Talarico loses next month blame it all on me. I live in New York and have nothing to do with Texas, but I have ignored his what I estimate is approximately 433 texts asking me for money. So.

hey y'all money's pretty tight rn between car payment, student loans, medical bills, credit card payments, and rent and bills so I'm opening up commissions! bekarts.carrd.co

parents whose adult kids have cut them off should just shut up and take some pride in the fact they raised a principled individual despite being a rancid bigoted piece of shit themself

DMD is one of the major reasons i picked up a pen myself. i am so heartened to see DMD come to a charming and satisfying ending after watching it become eeriely prophetic and even more artistically aspirational for over a decade. webcomics are so good!!

Today I finished Doomsday, My Dear. I don't have any kind of big media blitz prepared, but it would mean a lot if you'd read and/or share it now that it's complete: doomsdaymydear.com To those who have been following along, the last four pages are here: doomsdaymydear.com/dmd/692 #webcomics

I met cami when she was just beginning this massive, ambitious story, years before all of its core themes (modern fascism, mass surveillance, pandemic response) became vividly relevant to everyone's everyday lives.

people can't even drive their ground cars. the development of actual flying cars needs to be paywalled behind everyone using their turn signals and getting off their fucking phones

I'm actually struggling lately with how much rage I feel at the carelessness of other drivers. they could instantly kill me or someone I love because they're not paying attention but I'm sure what they're doing instead is totally worth it

at least on the ground a bad driver will generally just kill anyone within a certain x or z axis translation. imagine if that shit fell on you

Yesterday, Wizards informed us that it doesn’t intend to voluntarily recognize the D&D or Studio X units of our union ahead of a vote. We remain committed to creating a workplace focused on wellness, transparency, and collaboration by winning our coming election.

wow sounds like double fine busted its union then you don't lay off every identifiable union organizer and also a bunch of supporters as just a haha whoopsie lil coincidence

Back in May, Double Fine employees petitioned for a union. Two weeks later, that petition was withdrawn. What happened? https://kotaku.com/inside-the-failed-fight-to-unionize-one-of-gamings-most-idealized-studios-2000742755

Finally the beleaguered teacher chimes in, "everyone please stop saying it", from across the room where she's organizing the cubbies. The kids settle down. I kiss my son on the head and abscond from the preschool bitch vortex. I'm pleased to report that he got another muffin.

dropped little guy off at preschool this morning, all the kids are gathered around the table waiting for breakfast. I'm helping push his chair in when a kid turns to me, wide-eyed, and says "[OTHER KID] SAID BITCH!!"

immediately the little girl to his left shouts, imploringly, "NO! [OTHER KID] WOULD *NEVER* SAY BITCH!" I say "oh, ok." Pandemonium ensues. The word "bitch" is echoing around this table of three year olds as emotions begin to flare.

My son, in the meantime, has seated himself and is blithely waiting to be served his second breakfast (he ate a muffin at home). He has not said bitch and doesn't seem likely to, at least in this moment. "Man this really isn't any of my business," I tell the kids, who are clamoring for a reaction.
