Take a moment to remember what we promised Brexit would deliver: a well-funded NHS, less immigration, more jobs, flourishing businesses with no red tape, easy to get on the housing ladder, boom time for farming, fishing and steel industries... I do hope you're enjoying it.

George Monbiot explains why the UK should rejoin the EU, "There's a reason why Russia tried to intervene in the Brexit vote, they knew that it would harm the UK and the EU if we left" "They were very clear about that and boy have they been proved right"

People voted to leave the EU because they were fed up, often for reasons that had nothing to do with the EU. And there was no agreement on what Brexit would look like. The country has moved on since 2016. Politicians need to catch up. @pimlicat.bsky.social on LBC

Not the will of the people! #Brexit was the will of Putin.

So it's official! 💥 Brexit was simply the first salvo in a Putin-backed attack upon the West. The same battle is now being fought throughout Europe. If the UK turns its back on Brexit and rejoins the EU, it will be seen as a victory for the whole of Europe against Putin and the rise of fascism.

For the sake of our own security, we must pursue EU membership. "But it is not Lesvure, or Merz or even Burnham who is propelling the UK back into the EU, but the efforts of Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump that are making the case for a stronger united Europe that can protect its own interests."
