I have to look at so many websites every day for work and it's been so depressing seeing what used to be such a vibrant tapestry of web design turn into the same vibe-coded beige bullshit oughhhhhhh

I’m making a new browser game about what happens if you do a Frankenstein and then regret it and try so hard to undo what you did but she keeps coming back every time you put her back in the ground. it is gothic and esoteric and erotic and definitely not a metaphor for anything gender-y

Didn't know this until today but Dolly Parton had a transsexual man named Jason Pirro work as her Hollywood chauffeur in the 1980s, per an interview he gave to The Sun in 1990. "Dolly has been good to me...Dolly knows all about me."

THE JOKER : wanna know how I got these scars? ZOHRAN MAMDANI, SPEAKING PERFECT MANDARIN: How you got your scars is a personal story, but I want to make sure that every New Yorker who has scars gets to tell their story. That’s why I’m reducing MTA fares on weekends

Layoffs are the only video game news there is now. Just people losing their jobs until video games cease to exist.

picked up NOTES FROM A REGICIDE off this list and it absolutely whips. the story of two revolutionaries in the distant future, as told by their son. I've cried twice, and a third time from envy

every time trans people lose some rights, it's always "what about cis people they get affected too" and I Understand why this impulse exists but I wish for once I wouldn't have to see our oppression be turned into "won't someone think about the cis"

Everyone start making zines about this. Seriously spread the word.

Unicorn Riot@unicornriot.bsky.social

Daniel "Des" Rolando Sanchez Estrada wasn’t even at the protest — his wife was — but prosecutors are pressuring him into giving up his permanent resident status because he allegedly moved a box of zines the day after. Now that he’s going to trial, he’s looking at decades behind bars and deportation.

This is horrifying. People getting sentenced to decades in prison for distributing zines, organizing mutual aid efforts, public protest.

Federal sentencing has started. Zachary Evetts was just sentenced to 50 years by Chief District Judge Reed O'Connor. Maricela Rueda was just sentenced to 840 months / 70 years by Judge Mark Pittman.

This is very very ugly, the sentences are completely over the top.
