#SONY killing #Destiny is one of the most ignorant, misguided, and depressing decisions to ever happen in the history of video games. As a fan of the franchise, this turns me off from anything SONY related ever again. If that wasn’t sad enough, laying off the talented employees at #Bungie is tragic.

God bless the empaths, the protectors and supporters. Those of us who put their time and lives on the line to help the rest of us stand, walk and fight through the darkness.

When the president was calling all Somali immigrants "garbage" who "come from hell" and "contribute nothing" to America and therefore needed to go "back where they came from" did you ask him to "stop the rhetoric," Tom?

Homan: "I begged for the last two months on TV for the rhetoric to stop. I said in March -- if the rhetoric doesn't stop, there is gonna be bloodshed. And there has been. I wish I wasn't right. I don't want to see anybody die."

KNOW THE DIFFERENCE: Minnesota National Guard under Gov Walz's command will not be wearing facemasks and will have reflective vests on. This will distinguish them from the people cosplaying for ICE/CBP/DHS.

Germany sends troops to Greenland. Germany has seen this movie before. They played the bad guys then. They want a different role in the sequel.

The “if she had complied, she’d still be alive” line that we’re hearing from ICE defenders is the mantra of apologists for security forces in dictatorships through the ages.

There is a deep and inhumane darkness in our our country, and I carry an overwhelming sadness and frustration at the complete idiocy of the whole thing.

The killing of an American citizen by masked immigration enforcement agents is almost enough to make you forget Epstein or Venezuela or the fact that we just passed the anniversary of January 6. But you know, it's possible to remember all of it at once

I’ve lived in and around Minneapolis for over 20 years. It’s a beautiful city with mostly wonderful people. The right has a hard-on to paint it as something else to fit their sick narrative. Fuck the right and Fuck ICE. Get the hell out of my city!

Gonna say the crazy thing now, so when it becomes reality I can look back prove that it’s truly insane to have happened. Trumps commutation of George Santos’ sentence is a preamble to his pardon (or commutation) of Ghislaine Maxwell. The play is to diminish the outrage that would follow.

The fact that Matthew Dowd lost his job for pointing out Charlie Kirk’s hate speech, while Brian Kilmeade openly suggests we should euthanize the homeless and there is zero outrage, shows exactly what is terribly wrong with today’s political mainstream media.

I’m sure the president is going to be a cool, calm and measured voice of reassurance during this time of political violence. There’s no way he would use today’s events to foment more social instability. /s

Very striking how every right-wing conspiracy freakout was just a prophecy of what they planned on eventually doing - whether it was Jade Helm or FEMA camps, the moment they had the opportunity to make these imaginary monstrosities they came up with come to life, they did

I'm employing a new way of thinking when it comes to my habits as a consumer starting today. Whatever it is that I am about to buy I will ask myself "but, do I need it?" and if the answer is no, I walk away.
