We're thrilled and thankful to hear that Heroes of Cerulea is an ENNIES Judges' Spotlight Winner! 💙 If anyone wants to check it out, the PDF is pay what you want. blackfiskpublishing.com/store/ blackfiskpub.itch.io/heroes-of-ce...

This is gonna be a pretty sweet game, if I do say so myself. (And I can, because I didn't design or write this one.)

We’ve just launched the Kickstarter for Flowers Withered on the Stem. It’s a vampire family drama role-playing game, entirely card-based and pick-up-and-play. Pledge the Vampire tier and join us in our efforts to make this game a reality. www.kickstarter.com/projects/bla...

One of my favorite story games!

#lodelrol #ttrpg

Love this! Such an honor.

My partner made me a annotated map for Heroes of Cerulea with all the dungeons and that @blackfiskpub.bsky.social and @ceruleanfive.bsky.social have released as well as some of my favorite fan made extras.

This TTRPG hones in on the family relationships between vampires—a focus central to vampire fiction, but often peripheral at best when it comes to vampire games. It’s is also compact and accessible: all you need is the card deck. Just pick it up, sit down, and start playing. Give it a follow!

We’ve been working on this game for quite a while. It took us a lot of playstorming, playtesting, dead ends, and fresh ideas to figure out what it actually wanted to be. But we finally found it. Tell a friend, get hyped, and mark your calendar: October 27. www.kickstarter.com/projects/bla...

To Feel Your Warmth is LIVE on BackerKit! A tragic duet vampire TTRPG about two people in love, one of which has been cursed with vampirism, in the final hours before sunset. A conversation about love, trust, and the decision to move forward together or say goodbye forever. 🩸🚪🌅

please note that the word that is emphasised here is 'MY'. for the leopard meme to be applicable, a person must have known and expected a particular outcome to happen, just not to THEM 'people' is implicitly understood to have meant 'those other people' rather than 'me'

Recently, we played Blood Feud at a con. We fell in love with it all over again, but figured we could make it even easier to get the game to the table. So we created a starting playset based on our session. It's out now, for free. (And the game is PWYW.) blackfiskpub.itch.io/a-web-of-amb...

Wow. US, but still!

Ocarina of Time is mostly about the differences between childhood and manhood, which mainly that boils down to having three pairs of shoes that you have to cycle through regularly instead of one.

Today TTGDA released what we believe is our most important effort so far - our Licensing Contract Rubric. This is an objective scoring metric that can be used to partially evaluate the quality of a contract. We applied it to a huge swath of the industry, and this chart shows how they scored. 🧵 🎲✂️

Who’s got two thumbs and just did an entire layout in A6 when it was supposed to be in A5? Sorry, can’t point to myself right now, I have to use my hands to fucking redo the whole layout.

I keep thinking I'm done for now, then I go ahead make another pamphlet... So here's an adventure about being stuck in a time loop. ceruleanfive.itch.io/the-temple-o...

HEY Gen Con bound D&D players who are going to be at Gen Con: I love it too! It's really fun! I urge you, though, to try something new. Don't go to a con and only play what you play at home all the time, try something you'd never be able to play otherwise. #GamesonDemand. Westin.

Clark Valentine@clarkvalentine.bsky.social

Done prepping the two games I’ll be offering at Games On Demad at Gen Con! Mythic Bastionland and Teenage Ninja Fighting School. If you’ll be in Indy and want to try some independent games you’ve never played before, bring a generic ticket to the Westin and check out #GoD. #TTRPG

Finally got my hands on physical copies! Some things I enjoyed: • Effective presentation. • Gorgeous art. • Character s̶h̶e̶e̶t̶s̶ pamphlets. • Evocative character creation. • Advancement through learning skills from people you help. • Creative adventure concepts. Great work, @munkao.bsky.social !

Someone said to me, "I'm sorry but I got your book from a library." Nobody should ever apologise for that. You read my book! That's brilliant! I grew up hanging out in libraries and the idea of a world without them fills me with dread. Without libraries, authors, like readers, will only suffer.

I released my 4th Kala Mandala adventure — What Happened to the Silver Spoon Boys? — last week! The adventure came from a passing thought of “what happens after a TPK?”.
