I went to Delaney Hall to follow up on conversations I had this morning with family members of detainees. ICE and GEO Group did not let me speak with detainees. Why do they insist on hiding the truth even after getting almost $1 billion of tax dollars?

Just heard @npr.org describe Delaney Hall protests as “violent clashes,” parroting Gov. Sherrill. I’m not there & haven’t seen all, but I’ve not seen evidence of protester violence. Only ICE & police violence. NPR offers none; not even an alleged example.

The idea that the US & UK militaries are lobby that same technology that tells me “I’m absolutely right” on an almost daily basis as I point out its inability to follow instructions should be allowed to kill people’s without human oversight is nuts to me. This is biggest ethical crisis of our lives

Amazon warehouse workers have been trying to unionize for years, largely in response to the corporation's well-documented unsafe working conditions. But Amazon continues to squash organizing. Every worker deserves to be safe on the job.
