Okay so, is Schumer voting for the CR because shutting down the government is worse? If so, why? And does the DNC support it? If not, why not? The problem with all this is that WE DO NOT KNOW.

I didn't realize this until now and the point is kind of technical. But it's significant. No one has actually filed for cloture on the bill itself. So that means that even if Dems fold tomorrow this is going to go past the deadline and into shutdown. Setting aside the weird words here's the deal:...
