Trans people have always existed. Gender affirming medical care has been in existence for over a century. About the same amount of time we've been researching fusion. I bet those people have never heard of fusion either or think it's something new.

Growing up in suburban white neighborhoods, I was singled out for wearing braids. Even now in Kansas, white women ask if I’m “from around here.” I’ve been here my whole life. They see a Black person in an upscale neighborhood and assume we don’t belong, THE reality of being Black in white spaces.

The most dangerous creature on the planet continues to be suburban white people and it’s not even close.

I NEED to get out of Kansas and to LA before Nov 1st to escape my abuser. I’m urgently trying to raise 500$ to help me relocate safely. Some white women mistake discomfort with oppression and criticism with persecution. There’s a difference between having your feelings hurt and living under systems that consistently disadvantage you. Being challenged isn’t the same as being marginalized.

For the no men and female sports thing, the whole thing is backwards. There should just be weight classes for sports and if you fit in that weight class you play with people of that weight class.

Being Black and trans in Kansas is my real life. I can’t just make a few posts, log off, and escape the reality I live in every day. This isn’t a debate or a trending topic for me. It’s my life, and I have to live it even when everyone else scrolls past.

You can't beat fascism by agreeing with fascism. You can't beat fascists by accepting a fascist frame. Corporatist Democratic Party leadership needs to be defeated and jettisoned. We have to fight them, not because we don't want to fight Republicans, but because they refuse to.

As a Black trans person living in Kansas, I know how exhausting it can be when voting laws and restrictions make it harder for us to have our voices heard. I had to jump through hoops to get my vote in, but I made it happen. We shouldn’t have to fight this hard for a right that belongs to ALL of us!

Being Black and trans shouldn’t mean having to fight this hard just to feel safe. I’m trying to leave abuse behind.
