While the federal government seeks to mass deport our neighbors, legislative leaders and Gov. Walz have struck a deal to end state health coverage for undocumented adults. This is capitulation, at a time when state and local support for people at risk from the Trump Administration is most crucial.

With President Trump and Elon Musk’s onslaught against the federal government, the Democratic Party establishment is failing to fill the role of an opposition party. We know we must build beyond the status quo to withstand the catastrophic actions at the federal level.

The city of Minneapolis produced this map during a recent presentation about the fate of the garbage burner. I took a moment, laid the map over I-94 and had a light bulb moment. Then I shouted "wait, hold on guys I found the source of the cancer!" But nobody listens.

How local TV covers I-94 ➡️A big decision that will impact commuters ➡️What this could mean for "a whole lot of drivers." ➡️120,000 people travel this busy stretch every day. No mention of people living within poisoning distance of 94, higher asthma rates, lifespans cut short.
