Like usually means bookmarked. Repost means interesting. Not one good word to say about Sir Keir Starmer.

A big issue with our systems is that we need people to put themselves forward i.e to op-in. I'm drawn to the Roman method. We don't select Juries based only on those that op-in.

Another example of cancel culture... You can't even go around organising killings anymore.

1/ Caught on camera: the CEO of Turning Point UK allegedly told an undercover reporter that, for a price, his contacts could beat, stab, shoot or kill someone. A man he introduced then allegedly offered a UVF killing. Here's what they said they'd do. #DV1 #ProudBlue #Voices4Victory #USDemocracy

Maggie, Boris, Kemi... Versus Blair, Brown, Miliband, Corbyn, Starmer, Burnham. Stop the difference? H/t @steverichards.bsky.social for reminding us of our the right wing press personalise their Leaders.

17 October 2026: The Daily Mail leads on a new poll suggesting Kemi Badenoch's Conservatives have regained second place behind Labour, overtaking Reform UK to become the official opposition once again. #TomorrowsPapersToday

Q: Do you have any reaction to a US ambassador asking someone to pay off debt in exchange for access to other government officials? VANCE: Well, so -- with that hypothetical, obviously I don't love that, but I, you know, I don't know exactly who you're talking about, I don't know the full details

VAR used in the right time, sparingly, is fantastic. The WC got it almost right. People forget how many games were ruined by bad decisions before VAR. VAR has also almost eliminated diving in the box. There used to be a few penalities every week given for blatant dives. Now it's a few a season.

Hold on...the Daily Mail are the bad guys now? Did he come back with everyone? Fascist on Fascist fight...best to stand back and let them at it.

Daniel Thomas / Danny Tommo has today marched his private army of blackshorts to Daily Mail HQ to demand a new house for his mum within 48 hrs, after they doorstepped her for a feature on him. Apparently he plans to blockade them + cry at them until they do Bet those lads are glad of the balaclavas

Farage's by-election stunt wasted enough public money to pay for free dental care for every child in his constituency. Does he care? No. He just wanted to avoid legitimate parliamentary scrutiny of his dodgy bungs. Which he won't. It'll start again immediately. What a cock.

A national poll, conducted in July 2026 by Ipsos, asked voters across the UK who they would prefer to win, Count Binface or Nigel Farage. Count Binface beat Nigel Farage by 12 points! Come on Clacton. Do the right thing. Vote Bin Face not Bin Man!

#MEXENG The BBC commentary was outrageously bias but I'm starting to wonder if other contender countries are the same? Irish commentry is bias but it's not accompanied by the same level of arrogance - hence I'm wonder what other contender countries commentry is like.

Starmer and McSweeney took complete control of labour, but built nothing and leave behind a husk of a party So much so that only contender is Burnham, who wasn’t in Westminster This is story of how we got here (funded by a bag of dark money.)

Not just a seismic result for Plaid and Reform, but our final MRP model's central estimate had Plaid 43, Reform 34, with all parties well within range, so a fantastic result for @bkmann1.bsky.social and @patrick-pme.bsky.social too.

AI is a thinking machine. One risk with Automations based on this 'thinking' is that the next release thinks differently.

Ethan Mollick@emollick.bsky.social

Axiom: The form of AI that we ended up with is deeply weird in ways that we don't fully understand yet. Thus, attempts to pretend AI is less weird & apply it like a standard IT product will inevitably result in less useful & far less reliable AI implementations than those that embrace weirdness.

The problem for Labour is that Starmer and Labour “Together” have fixed the Party so that it *can’t* change, it’s inbuilt reactionary “centrist” parliamentary/NEC majority means it will not be able to change credibly until these nasty drone MPs are booted out at the next election.

Stunned and betrayed to discover that Professor Matt Goodwin was not the wholly neutral and unbiased expert on the far right which I believed him to be!?!?!?

In fairness I'd only post nonsense like this anonymously as well.

He isn't seen as the Messiah by all of us in Labour. We need a period of stability as things are slowly improving. Starmer has had a very good week, although you wouldn't know it by the press.

All these Reform defections are short term gains which undermine their core selling point - which is change. Why would the country elect a party full of all the same washed-up, scandal-hit former Tory ministers they just kicked out of office? Opens the space for both a Labour and Tory recovery
