Ran into one of my least favourite gaming tropes today. I don’t enjoy the bits where you’re walking (staggering) a very wounded character around. It feels like it could be a cutscene. Why do I need to push forward for a minute of shuffling? Maybe one of my dev pals can explain why they do this.

You know when you have a character who usually wears a hat, and they’ve had a bad guy take it away from them and wear it. Only for the good guy to take it back in the middle of the fight and put it back on before finishing the fight. It’s a silly trope, but one I like very much. Thanks Fallout s2!
