Floods don’t ask for your passport. Droughts don’t care about your politics. Heatwaves don’t check your race or income. Climate change is the definition of a global crisis. It will only be solved by global leadership that puts people and planet above short-term politics. Let’s demand it.

The last period in which the British people felt the country was at its peak in economic strength, global power and general optimism was 1991-2007. Even post-2008, the sense of optimism and national pride extended to 2012. I wonder if being part of a union of some kind had anything to do with it 🤔
