When BC's consumer carbon tax was first introduced, it was accompanied by tax cuts to both personal and corporate taxes to make it revenue-neutral. But when it was eliminated last spring, these tax cuts were not reversed. The result is a $2 billion hole in BC's finances. #BCBudget

Musk is enabling election interference against political parties he dislikes. He will keep doing it until governments stop him.

“A Financial Times analysis of more than 350,000 posts on X related to the election, gathered since the snap poll was announced in March, revealed a network of co-ordinated accounts pushing content to boost Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre and tarnish his counterpart, the Liberal’s Mark Carney.”

My last thought on this because I need some Offline Time: Because of their fear of being defined as "not neutral" or "biased," the bodies who label "journalists" and adjudicate access are increasingly complicit in the destruction of our information ecosystem. Meet the moment and grow a spine.

Literally like half of the questions are going to disinformation spewing grifter outlets who are using it as an opportunity to spew absolute bullshit under the guise of asking questions. Great work, leaders debate.

CBC reporting CPC staffers are screening reporter questions before they choose who asks Poilievre. He already won't take follow ups, won't let the travel with the campaign, now they selecting the topics journalists can ask. This is outrageous, further proof his ideas can't take scrutiny. #cdnpoli

I asked Sebastian Skamski, Pierre Poilievre’s spokesperson, multiple times if Poilievre condones this Carney-Epstein rhetoric – astonishingly, they would not respond Here’s more on Canada Proud spending big money flooding Facebook with unhinged Carney-Epstein attack ads:

Since Pierre Poilievre refuses to raise his security clearance to the level of his responsibilities, it’s time to lower his responsibilities to the level of his security clearance. #FanjoyVsPoilievre #TogetherWeCan #CarletonDeservesBetter

The research will continue, just not in the US. America got the scientific brain drain from Germany under Hitler & the rest of the world will now get ours. Other countries will quickly surpass our research and benefit both financially and in scientific recognition.

A couple months ago when Minister Joly announced an Arctic military presence plan, Poilievre asked, “…from who? Santa Claus?” Now I guess he’s suddenly terrified of Santa Claus? What a joke this man is. I wouldn’t hire him to mow my lawn, let alone be PM.
