I haven't really been right since I heard the sound the sun makes.

Who could have guessed there would be a temple for the third largest religion in the world near the third largest city in the United State? It's almost like people of all religions tend to congregate near large population centers and need places to worship.

but not in a nazi way

From what I understand the question that preceded this was about affordability. You know, the thing every politician in America is asked about right now.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

SULLIVAN: We weren't supposed to get these questions beforehand, were we? MODERATOR: No, neither one of you got questions beforehand PELTOLA: I'm prepared!

This guy either never does call time or is atrocious at it.

Jamison Foser@jamisonfoser.bsky.social

do you have any idea how lazy you have to be to only raise $800k as an incumbent Republican senator? are we sure this guy is alive?

Modern country is *stomp* *clap* buttrock with shitty lyrics about small towns, trucks, and beer. I actually feel sorry for country fans.

All of these betting platforms want consevatives to win because it means continued business with no real regulatory oversight. Any news or trends they spew out are natural odds, they tip the scales.

Cameron 🇺🇸🗽🦅@cameroncorduroy.bsky.social

these companies need to be strangled to death with the full force of the regulatory state at the soonest opportunity

Interesting tidbit here underneath the fact that Marshall is a piece of shit is that the GOP had to outline $8 million from NC to fund this. GOP is hemorrhaging money to protect "safe" seats.

It's so embarrassing that Angela Paxton sacrificed what little dignity she had by doing that commercial for Texas PAC. Just support in everything but name for the man who couldn't stop cheating on you.

Paxton continues to defy expectations because I doubt you could come up with a shittier answer.

Ken Paxton: The criticism has been that I let a child predator out after one day. Well guess what? They served 60 days.

You can practically smell the flopsweat here.

RNC Chair Joe Gruters: "This is not your grandparents' Democrat Party. They want to get rid of Thanksgiving. They want to get rid of July 4."

So DHS policies are in some type of quantum superposition where they both do not exist, but if you tell them they can't do that it harms them? Laughable.

This post is unavailable.

Whichever consultant is telling candidates they need to make an ad to respond to this, let alone say this vile shit, needs to be shot into the sun.

Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com

Holy shit. Marcy Kaptur becomes the latest Dem to release an anti-trans ad, and its worse than all the rest combined. "I voted WITH Republicans to keep transgender ideology out of schools, and let me be clear, boys should NOT play in girls sports." This is getting out of control.

This is once again projection. The largest child trafficking operation is Trump's mass deportation program.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

RFK Jr accuses Democrats of "turning our government into the biggest child trafficking operation in world history"

Everything about this is so fucked.

Texas Observer@texasobserver.org

Featured story: Districts across the state are arresting and citing young children for common misbehavior, leaving lasting trauma as the Legislature rejects bills to raise the age of criminal responsibility and floods schools with even more police.

To put a finer point on this point, every state convention Texas Republicans put it in their platform to not only ban gay marriage but also bring back anti-sodomy laws. I'm sure every other state party does as well. The opposition never left, the media just ignores it.

Shocked that the people who said "Hey don't support the guy with the Nazi tattoo." Were right about not supporting the guy with the Nazi tattoo.

All that textual analysis, and the fundamental question is never asked: under my rule, could you have chattel slavery? Get the fuck out. You cannot have an eternally replenishing population that never gets rights under the 14th amendment. That's the point.

mad how the defining cultural image of Steamboat Willie is Mickey whistling and driving the boat, and not the bit where he plays a pig's nipples as a musical instrument while it shrieks in pain

I remember people were saying Lander's close allyship with Mamdani during the mayoral primary and after would benefit him down the road. They were completely right, good for him.

Dear God. Emergency primary now!

I'm sorry is this agreement just to give Iran free money and let them make unrestricted money again? On top of that they get all the nuclear material they want?

QuoProQuid@quoproquid.bsky.social

eyes popping out of my head as I read through the alleged items in the US–Iran MoU. #7 alone is something that would not survive any contact with the US Congress

Why is the free speech org concerned with the protected speech of faculty members? 🤔 Would they be concerned if Liberty University professors were largely conservative donors?

John Holbein@johnholbein1.bsky.social

73% of faculty are not in this sample.

We're not potical actors, it's just a big coincidence our unpopular opinions nearly always seem to support Republicans and duck over Democrats.

NEW: Chief Justice John Roberts bemoans that Americans don't understand how the Supreme Court operates and see justices as "political actors". The court at times simply has to make "unpopular" decisions, he adds: www.nbcnews.com/politics/sup...

Scott Jennings is such a piss baby.

Acyn@acyn.bsky.social

Wow Scott Jennings blows up at Adam Mockler: “Get your fucking hand out of my face” Mockler: We all know that Scott Jennings is more than happy to defend a war with a country that starts with letters Ira that we are currently failing that is going to put us trillions of dollars more in debt.

Not only was he not that, I'm not even sure he can use the words somberly, contemplative, or conciliatory.

PBS News@pbsnews.org

President Donald Trump was somberly contemplative and unusually conciliatory after confronting what he saw as a third attempt on his life in less than two years. https://to.pbs.org/4e9MR4j

Cannot be said enough that this is entirely a Republican own goal. Dems would continue to fight the bullshit gerrymanders from the 2020 census but would not have done more if not for this second round of redistricting started by Texas. CA and VA Dems should be praised for seeing this through.

These dealership service plans are such a fucking scam. "Oh but you're paying for all the oil changes up front at a discount." Yeah and it always takes 3+ fucking hours, so you're wasting you day sitting in uncomfortable chairs with shitty music.
