I work at a medical facility and we have a pair who nest outside the surgery center doors. Papa goose chases people and cars. They honk their horns at him all spring long.

- The Beatles recorded Maxwell's Silver Hammer. Coincidence? - Release the Einstein Files! - On porno filming sets, the Valley of the Shadow of Boobs is known as the "jizz lane". Coincidence? - According to Iran's latest press release, they warned US not to attack. "Ayatoldya!" said one official.

I finished it a few years ago out of sheer determination. Then immediately tried to play Majoraโ€™s Mask and just couldnโ€™t. Thatโ€™s the one Zelda game I just canโ€™t play

The first Star Wars movie is the best one, and it is best watched in character as someone who has never even heard of Star Wars before. And the 4K project is the best option, followed by the Despecialized Edition, followed by the '95 releases or before.

The Jurassic World franchiseโ€™s dinosaur designs are good and should be used as a reference for how to portray dinosaurs in film.

You only like Nutella because of the idea of spreadable chocolate you're allowed to have for breakfast. Once you open your eyes to the fact that it's not chocolate made spreadable, but rather palm oil with a bit of flavouring, you realize how gross it is.

I think the Italian megarika had the idea of watering down the chocolate with palm oil and it made him his fortune ๐Ÿ˜ญ i know someone is the richest in their country because of the nutella palm oil but which country idk

โ€ฆhow? I genuinely didnโ€™t think a person wouldโ€ฆhold this opinion? How did you come to deโ€”and also why? It seems very right and very, very wrong. I donโ€™t think itโ€™s bad take so much as itโ€™s gently unhinged.

This is just factual. After over half a century's experience of people urging me to just try beets prepared in different ways, I can conclusively state that, no matter what kind of beet, no matter how fresh or old, no matter how they're prepared, beets always, ALWAYS, ALWAYS taste like dirt.

People complained too much about the last two Indiana Jones films when they are simply ok and not nearly as bad as the worst of other 80s franchises. Considering what others got, Iโ€™ll take a couple mixed movies I still liked over flaming disasters. People arenโ€™t normal about Lucasfilm projects.

Unless they're also Cuckoo Clocks; thus their existence is justified. Naw, I'm kidding, I think normal bird-less g-dad clocks are also cool, but will concede they're too big to be practical for like 90% of the population with today's living spaces, it's still a fun waste of space for the other 10%.

M.Nightโ€™s The Village is actually great. The score in the swaying autumn trees alone brings it to good. Adrian Brody brings it down to ok. Eyes up here Michael actor (Greer) brings it back to good. Restraint of Rivers brother brings it back to great. Killer cast: over the top.

This applies to a large number of cartoon cats, actually. Every cartoon about mice has a cat villain who chases the mice around, but that doesn't make them evil. They're just obligate carnivores doing what nature intended! The exception is Fat Cat from Rescue Rangers, who is an actual crime lord.

I look back to high school and us just being out like, doing stuff, baked out of our gills. Nowadays, I take a gummy or two and feel nothing for 2 hours then suddenly can't walk for 4-6.

I completely forgot this happened. This poor dude (not the person in the video) was wandering around my neighborhood lost. He got too high at target and was walking it off, but had no idea where Target is or how to get back to his car. It was a good mile away and I had to walk him halfway.

an aggressive ant colony reduces the Keebler elves to a pile of bones and little outfits, but what sends a wave of deep unease around the world, the true source of fear, is how fast these ants are able to get cookie production ramped back up

The cart is something that a store provides in hopes that I use it so that I will purchase more than I can hold in my two hands, increasing their profitability.ย ย  Sounds like something they should be in charge of...

Alt-bad take The "crocs are not stylish" thing is from the "convertible skoda is a skip" generation. It's actually the height of fashion now among the youth, and they think we're fuddie duddies for shunning them

Both ice cream and mac and Cheese taste bad and make most people sick. There are better desserts and pasta dishes and you deserve them.

Superman is a massive moral failure. He could stop wars and end world hunger, but he spends most of his time cosplaying as a journalist and rescuing people from car crashes.

His cape is also highly damage resistant. Kryptonian fiber or something. Essentially lets him keep fire or exsplosions away from people as he tries to save them. Tldr supes cape also has super powers. Plus different versions different cape powers.

Iโ€™m not unsympathetic to this argument, but to my mind, the gulf between what Superman could do and what he chose to do is a zillion orders of magnitude greater compared to Batmanโ€™s gulf.

In-N-Out used to be good in the 90s. They were still good in the 2000s. Now the ones they opened in Colorado make me wish it was still some unobtainable burger from my youth that I pine for, instead of whatever the hell it is now. Why do they taste like cinnamon? What the fuck is that?

You're right but the burgers are good enough I don't care. Also I've discovered that (assuming your blood pressure is good ๐Ÿ˜…) if you add extra salt right when you get them they can be pretty decent. I've been ordering them with extra salt but my local place has just been giving me a salt packet.

I both like in & out pretty well and agree with this. The good things about it have never been that theyโ€™re The Best or Uniquely Good.

Anna pls come visit us in Australia, I'll show you good burgers ๐Ÿ˜ญ (mind you I've only had an In & Out once and it was very below average and the experience was weird)

Oh dear god, there are youtube videos on IRQs? The internet really does not forget anything does it. It has been long enough that your mention of IRQs only triggered a brief ptsd response.

The Fifth Element is a bad movie that people only revere because they got to see Milla Jovovich naked, and Iโ€™m tired of pretending otherwise.

I went into that movie blind and immediately thought three things when I saw Luke Perry running through a pyramid dressed in trousers: - Ooh, historical sci fi! I like that stuff. - Archaeology. I like archaeology. - Heโ€™s cute. I could watch a movie about him. I have resented it ever since.

For real though it's an original film with excellent world building, practical effects, costumes, and performances from the entire cast. Completely reductive take to say people like it over 2 seconds of nipple.

For the sake of arguing on the Internet, I have to disagree with this. Those are landmasses, physical entity that is only partially linked to to the human geographical construct of a continent. If the concept has any meaning at all, then there are at least 5, with Africa being one of them.

Yeah, that was my first one, which isn't actually a bad take. People who complain about others' food choices sucking are the ones who actually suck. You think pineapple pizza's gross? Don't eat it. I think eating ocean bugs is fucked up, so I don't do it.

I forgot my wallet the other day and stopped at our local Cambodian run joint. The son was working the counter and when I realized I had nothing to pay with he said..."your good man, you're a regular". I have never felt prouder and more seen.

My cousin that hates milk on cereal tried it because her older cousins (incl me) ate cereal with milk. I will never forget her look of betrayed horror, her lower lip sticking out with milky cereal sitting there. True horror for her.

You watch your mouth! RuBisCO is the most prevalent protein on Earth for a reason. So it accidentally bonds with the occasional molecule of oxygen. Who wouldn't! There's 400 times more of that than carbon dioxide floating around

Wonderfully put. He is a great response to the Han Solo archetype (whose iterations repeat endlessly in the franchise and beyond it). But beyond just that, he subverts the whole premise of the franchise. In his brief time on screen, he forces complexity and nuance on the settingโ€™s moral universe.

This may be true in some areas. But a lot of New Yorkers don't have cars, but do have money. And where I live I need a car to get to work but I'm not rich. What kind of policies to encourage it are you thinking of? There's a new law that makes auto loan interest tax deductible, is that what U mean?

This sounded completely plausible, so I looked it up. Turns out waffles have been with us from the dawn of civilization, thousands of years before syrup, which I'm not emotionally ready to accept.

In principle I agree with you: sauce + holes = win. That said, I've always found the tops of crumpets have a texture that my brain is irrationally adverse to (crepes as well). Slimy is obviously an inaccurate description, but it's I think the best way to explain how it seems to hit for me.

Even tried again when I was living in England to see if it was only the Canadian store bought ones. They were slightly more tolerable to me, but not enough to make me want to eat them instead of working my way through every scone I could get my mouth on ๐Ÿ˜‹

my fav British youtubers were playing a videogame and struggled for a LONG time though a section of platforming puzzles. They finally made it, turned to see the next section was similar but MUCH harder. There was a pause, then one flatly said "... well that's a real YOLO job, wouldn't it?"
