Trans folks speaking out against the anti-trans triangulation of certain Dem politicians aren't "helping" the GOP. If those Dems loose it will be no ones fault but their own. You don't get to tell a community that you don't need them, and then blame them for not showing up for you.

liberals are already trying to turn brazil's victory into proof that voting works, ignoring the fact that brazil succeeded because they had a charismatic, pro-trans, anti-genocide leftist to vote for and not limp dick moderates whose love of police brutality is second only to their love of genocide

the midterm strategy for the dem party seems to be ratfucking their leftish candidates and promoting their fascist ones in order to obtain as few seats as possible, thereby maintaining what they believe is plausible deniability for not doing shit

A new survey of 1,000 American adults found that the strongest supporters of transgender sports bans are not the people who admire women most: they are the people who hold the most hostile views about women. www.helenwebberley.com/news/transge...

Priming the public to accept the disenfranchisement of trans people as a necessary evil is a prelude to the disenfranchisement of other 'undesirable' groups. The purpose isn't to attract voters, the purpose is to support a bigger picture plan to purge unwanted elements from having a say in society.

It was never about women's sports or bathrooms. Segregation wasn't about keeping white kids safe from "super predators" either. And voting for the "lesser evil" here isn't going to protect you when both sides are working toward the same goal for the same people.

Democrats like Turek, Talarico, and Acton aren't just creating an environment where it's okay for the government to persecute trans people; they're creating a framework to allow the silencing of dissent both within their party and state and federal government.

The GOP went after immigrants. The Dems are going after the trans community. They will both broaden their scopes. Do you remember when Dems voted to condemn socialism immediately after the election of Mamdani? Or the push to blame leftists for their losses in 2020?

Vote blue no matter who, right? It's a big tent and you're not in it. Fuck the Dems and fuck their enablers

Aleksandra Vaca@transiticsnews.com

Colorado & Michigan have become the latest blue states to end Medicaid coverage for trans youth. Solidly blue Colorado will also be IMMEDIATELY shutting off care for all trans kids receiving puberty blockers—despite Trump's rule allowing a 6 month ‘tapering’ period. This is a complete betrayal.

benoît balls reposted

There are some people who claim "oh, Dems in blue states will never shift towards enacting anti-trans policy" Meanwhile Colorado is literally enacting a medical detransition protocol for trans youth on medicaid.

Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com

Rather than cover the cost of gender affirming care for trans youth under medicaid, Colorado is voluntarily enacting the republican "taper and detransition" policy for youth on medicaid and dropping coverage. WTF.

If you're harassing and yelling at trans people because they won't vote for fascist bigots in the shade of blue you prefer, then congrats! You know exactly what you would have been in 1932 Germany. A coward.

The bigotry and transphobia coming from the Democratic Party, coupled with all these weirdos jumping in to defend and excuse it, really underscores just how correct Malcom X was about the white liberal back in the 60s. They haven't changed, even today. Turek, Talarico, Acton...

"The white conservatives show their teeth and let you know where they stand, but the white liberals tend to smile, and while they're smiling, they're stepping on your back."

If you vote for these people, it'll only embolden the Dem's anti-trans rhetoric. They'll begin to adopt more fascist policies. If they lose, whether or not you vote, they'll throw the trans community under the bus like they did the "leftists" last election and they'll adopt more fascist policies.

It's always random-word-buncha-numbers coming in with the bigoted shit-take narrative trying to excuse voting for their shit candidate. I wish I could believe they're just the least effectual botfarm ever, but I've met people this fucking deluded in person.

Listen here, trans people, you NEED to VOTE for this shitbag who doesn't want you to exist because the REPUBLICAN will be WORSE because he will *checks notes* do the same thing but GOPier!

Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com

Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet. Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well. Horrific.

benoît balls reposted

Pro-HRT funding ban Democrat Josh Turek is endorsed by a ton of big names, and even a local @indivisible.org chapter (Dubuque County). Pete Buttigieg is not surprising at all turek4iowa.com/endorsements/

This is where "it's just trans sports bans" leads you, Democrats supporting overtly genocidal policies that would kill tens of thousands of trans people. But at least we'll be marched into the camps by someone in blue, right?

This is the line they'll say, then they'll throw you under the bus in the next election whether or not you vote for their genocidal anti-trans candidate.

Logic L1 👊🇺🇸🐸@logicl1.bsky.social

He's pandering to MAGAts to try to win an election. It's better for our trans brothers and sisters to have a Democrat in this Senate seat than to have a Republican in it.

I keep trying to write something about the anti-trans rhetoric coming out of the Dems and everybody suddenly realizing just how bad it actually is. I keep coming back to "Told ya," and I kind of hate how vindicated I feel. I know that people are rightfully afraid.

Anti-trans rhetoric is nothing new to the democratic party. People have been sounding the alarm about this for a long, long time. 'Vote blue no matter who' is a fucking psyop designed to make you compromise yourself, your family, and your friends to perpetuate more of /exactly this/.

For your own safety, for your own protection, please take some shooting classes. Please, buy a gun and train with it. And if none of that feels comfortable or right to you - then please, for the love of god, take a Stop the Bleed course.

I get why people have put so much faith into anything they think might save them. We've been so conditioned to this idea of 'a couple bad apples,' that it's easy to overlook how just one bad apple can spoil an entire bushel.
