The Prince Charles Cinema Secures its Future The Prince Charles Cinema is thrilled to announce that we have signed a new 25-year lease with no break clause, ensuring our projectors will keep rolling for years to come. #YouSavedthePCC

Hi. I would very much like it if black gamers/devs (specifically those from Chicago) would get in touch for a story. You can get me here or on discord @adashtra

Christmas is coming. The geese are getting fat. Good time to put some coin in Chris Weston's hat. I've got some choice pieces of art on ebay at the moment (and me old Mum's drink trolley, embarrassingly). Run like a lunatic and snap them up! www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?i...

Man who won’t give his employees piss breaks claims many piss breaks on the horizon

There are so many people, so many, that love film and want to dedicate their whole lives to making films, in front of the camera, behind it, in editing suites and casting rooms and makeup trailers. And that these locusts can come in and just devour the industry, take it from us all, is devastating.

Rare feeling of working on something that's getting me kind of excited #IndieGame #GameDev #Godot #DarkFantasy #ScreenshotSaturday

Pals I see you sharing links to London Daily & need you to know it's AI bullshit. The Louise Michel is real, Banksy really funded it, but that started in 2020 & the LD link people are sharing is timestamped to today but written as if it's 2020 & elides all the actual journalism about it.

Artists, qrp with your favorite portrait you’ve drawn! Drew it on the plane. It's my favourite frame of the movie (pretty good movie too).

I'm pleased to announce that around 200 pages' worth of tutorial resources are coming to the Game UI Database for FREE via a brand new blog. No ads. No paywalls. No email signups. Here's a preview of the first piece dropping next week, all about crafting cross-platform control schemes and layouts!

Magic trick

Je déclare ouverte ma liste personnelle de one-panel-comics préférés. Pour marquer sa subjectivité elle commencera par la Joconde des one-panel, à savoir "Cow Tools", par Gary Larson.

Please please please do this. Only 1663 alegations of thousands of people who are against AI, we NEED to push back

Shout-out to Travis Knight, who's father is the CEO of Nike (yes THAT Nike, the shoe brand) using his immense inherited wealth to fund stop motion animation at a financial loss purely for the love of the art. Laika Studios my beloved <3

it's my birthday! you could share my art if you like, and maybe leave me a comment with something really beautiful you've seen this week?

We can laugh about how this is definitely designed to be the bad guys in space uniform. But we should also assume this is Trump taking another step towards dedicating an entire branch of the military to himself complete with "official" funding. "Space" is obviously just a pretext.

if you start thinking too much about jokes and how they work then you start to dissect human communication and language and the purpose of All Of That down into its component parts

So glad I found this account. Lives up to the name. Always the best posed reference.

Sneak peek! 👀 Discord picked our next drop, and they chose the always-ethereal Ivy. Dropping tomorrow! 💧✨ TrueRef: Just the reference you were looking for.

Man, how fate missing the shot 3 fucking times in 3 days?

🕹️ Bytes of Gaming History ⌛ Hironobu Sakaguchi, Yuji Horii, and Akira Toriyama together in February 1995, just a month before the release of Chrono Trigger. Oh, the collective wonder they're about to release into the world...

The reason I've gone more left in recent years is that I previously accepted that we simply couldn't afford decent cheap housing, heavily subsidised transport, a universal basic income, etc. Then in 20 years in politics I saw what we actually could afford. And it's a lot. It's just never for you.

"No More Noise" was so incredibly good. Fans out there giving GRR Martin shit for ASOIAF when Shirow is still leaving us hanging after 30 FUCKING YEARS!

It's finally here! "Streetwear" starring Whimsy. 🌀✨ Whimsy is back, and she's cuter than ever. In fact significantly cuter given her first pose pack was legitimately horrifying. 👀 TrueRef: Just the reference you were looking for

Want to once again remind you that the best way to view pixel art is to order fine prints of it from my shop and free them from the tyranny of the screen! www.inprnt.com/gallery/mech...

I'm a huge X-Men fan and one of the reasons I cannot get excited about another X-Men movie is that any message it can give about bigotry and living under a hostile government as a minority will be be in order to generate money and power for Disney. It's kind of a bummer.

Near as I can tell that's Otakuthon at Palais Des Congrès in Montréal. I thought my old self was too weary to put in the work for cosplay and anime conventions, but I've been put to shame. I'll see what I can do in a year or two.

So it’s done I guess. Not the best job in the world by any means and seems to hold my weight and we will see how long it lasts before I have to untie and lace it up again from scratch. Hopefully I can save the rope when that happens. #woodworking

in case you were thinking of giving breathedge any of your time, just be aware it's one of the few games I've ever refunded for WILD misogyny

Psst - this is for artists who feel like their work looks chaotic or boring! I made a tutorial on 5 ways to boost your focal point. I do some paint-overs and show you some easy tricks to lead the eye 👁️ Find it here - www.patreon.com/loish/posts/...

Trying this out. I don't usually put this much detail in pencils, especially in roughs, and I will be obliterating most of that when I move to inks. #art #pencils #tiger

the fun thing and problem with Rumors is that it proves you can, in fact, make art good enough to completely justify your life as a messy drug-addled maniac
