Anyway, the truth is it’s not hard to stand up to genocide apologists. Just say “This is awful; I cannot fathom how any person could justify this.“ And then when they try to justify it you say, “No, I don’t think you understand: This is unfathomably cruel.” That’s it! You did it!

i gotta be honest... i've played all 3 mass effect games multiple times and i have no idea what n7 means or why it matters. it really never comes up in the games? i was always confused why it was on all the branding/shepard's uniforms.

reminder to everyone to turn off your phones, don't take photos of people's faces, and please god use signal or something similar to coordinate if you're going to protests.

Idea for a blades in the dark style inventory system for D&D 5e. The core idea is that you would have a number of abstracted slots for useful items (think rope, bag of caltrops, a set of masonry tools, false identification papers). Everytime you find an inn or a shop you can reset your inventory.

Something like a bag of holding could let you reset a loot slot once per short rest. Or a similar system. It would let you manipulate your loot slots as if you returned to town. Fictionally, your bag of holding is a giant tote bag and it's hard to find the thing you need, so it takes time to use it.

Additionally, you can spend a slot to claim a unit of loot after the battle. This would be a bunch of stuff found on the bodies of your opponents, like weapons, armor, jewels, gold, whatever. Each unit of loot would be worth, idk, like 100gp or something.

Basically, you'd have a very flexible, adaptable ability to have the adventuring stuff you need (grappling hooks, torches, rations, whatever) without having to pre-determine what you're carrying with you on any given adventure.

Every player would start with a default number of slots. let's say 5. To that you add your strength modifier. So a very strong character, say someone with a strength of 14, would get 7 slots. A wizard with a strength score of 6 would get 3 slots.

Starting now! Come through and say hi!
