An embattled data center campus project in Utah could emit “dangerous quantities” of air pollution linked to premature deaths, illness like asthma and heart attacks, and health-related economic damage, a new report from the firm EmPower Analytics Group says.
"Relying on SpaceX to conduct launches and deliver payloads, and allowing it to establish its own communications network, is akin to the Pentagon letting McDonnell Douglas build its own strike fighters and sell them to whoever it wants. It’s madness."
Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. No one from the federal government called us on that day. No one has called us since.

“This is the type of predatory behavior that needs to be rooted out of our society and politics. Tennessee deserves leaders who respect women— not sexually harass, expose their genitalia to, or take advantage of them.”

"Journalists often use the words 'unsubstantiated' or 'uncorroberated' when referring to the allegations victims have levied against powerful men, like Trump. Instead of saying these women’s accounts are not corroborated, maybe it’s time we say they were not investigated in spite of clear patterns."
For the fabulously wealthy, paying taxes is pretty much optional. They can borrow against their vast wealth, which is mostly an untaxed capital gain, without paying taxes. When they die, the capital gain goes to zero. And loopholes exist to bypass the estate tax too.
“Billionaires who popularized stock-based lending include Larry Ellison and Elon Musk. Both borrow to avoid having to sell shares—which could trigger a taxes and dilute their voting rights—in companies they founded.”

This recording really shows how far down CBS has gone from true journalism with the editorial interference happening there by Shayndi Raice. Her “talk” with her journalists is bonkers.
Bernie Sanders and I are standing for a 5% tax on California billionaires, so 3.5 million Californians and poor kids don’t lose their healthcare.

A good hedge, then, would be to say now that these oligarchs are meddling in the election, and will have to answer for it in January, no matter the size of Democrats’ victory. www.offmessage.net/p/donald-tru...
How do you know the Trump DOJ is not taking the allegations they are making seriously? They are “teasing” a new batch in the press

Pretty quick admission the “high confidence” batch from yesterday didn’t turn out so good for them
Of course Trump looks at AI data centers guzzling electricity and decides the problem is too many pollution rules.
Brilliant. More freedom for coal and gas plants to spew carbon while the rest of us worry about bills and a hotter planet.
