If any artist contact you on discord to ask you for commission, reach out to them on a different platform to verify if it's really them. No reputable artist will beg for your money in your dms.

⚠ PSA to artists and clients on #VGen about a Discord scam going around!! ⚠ a scammer is scraping profiles (both artists and clients) to make fake discord accounts impersonating them, then reaching out to people they've worked with in the past who have their discord info publicly visible

I recommend people read this article and I also recommend people to start masking in public again. I have been getting increasingly frustrated with how people talk to me and others who still mask with so much ridicule in their voice. "You do know corona is over?"

Disability can happen to anyone at any time. It’s not due to deconditioning or a moral failing. Many chronic illnesses are the result of a viral infection from which the body never recovers. We need more awareness, treatments & clean air to reduce viral spread. www.bbc.com/sport/athlet...

I would take more seriously the people promoting the idea of AI consciousness if they first materially grappled with the (much more obvious) consciousness of animals and how that affects our moral obligations to them.
