Bluesky's AppView performance has not been so great recently, right? Long loading times with "Please check your internet connection" or "rate limit exceeded" Thinking it may be folks off of the Bluesky PDS's. Thought it was android oddities, but I get it on desktop and have heard from others

awesome

At 250 billion DNS cache entries, one wasted byte costs 250 GB of RAM. Five Rust optimizations later: 100 TB freed, inserts 43% faster, lookups 19% faster. We didn't trade speed for space. https://cfl.re/4wOegyp

so excited to get this in folks' hands and to see what people build with it! it’s been a lot of work getting here & i'm proud of where it's at check it out, bang on it, break it, see where it doesn't work. let's make sure this is something we're all excited about & can take pride in building on

atproto.comThe Atproto Spaces Alpha is LiveAtproto Spaces, formerly known as “the permissioned data protocol,” is a new extension to atproto that enables non-public data. The alpha is now officially open. Here’s how to develop with it and what to expect as we work towards the full release.

i can now put “$350 spent vibe coding with Claude Fable 5” on my GitHub README under achievements. not sure if that’s a flex or a cry for help 😭

i spent around $350 vibe coding with Claude Fable 5. the results were genuinely good, but damn, that price adds up fast vibe coding is getting expensive enough that i’m starting to think about the meter before i start building 😭

Google deleted my account for using a VPN. My appeal was rejected with no explanation, evidence, or human review. Years of data and access wiped by an automated flag, then rubber-stamped on appeal. Completely unacceptable.

i spent 2 hours vibe coding and 2 days vibe debugging. turns out the vibes shipped bugs too

getting into Figma lately. trying to make my ideas a little less vague, one frame at a time still figuring it out, but it’s fun so far

Turbopack’s persistent build cache in Next.js 16.3 is quietly excellent. Warm-cache redeploys are properly fast. Build time is finally becoming less of a tax on shipping

this network is absolutely terrible I've never seen anything so bad: high latency and a speed limit of only 30 mbps.

Apple's reviewing process is fun "You gotta do this first" *Updates and re-submits* "One more thing, do this too" *Updates and re-submits* "You are missing this" JUST INCLUDE IT ALL IN THE FIRST REVIEW DAWG

just used Astro for the first time and i get the hype. it feels absurdly polished for something that gets out of your way this much

Dear Apple, It's 2026 why is 256 GB of storage the default option when picking a desktop or laptop computer? We cannot be for real. Even a normal user like me that just needs a web browser, VSCode and Apple music still needs 1TB of storage.

npmx being discussed alongside browser engines feels like a useful reminder that developer tooling is part of the web’s public infrastructure, not just a layer on top of it
