Could you fix your Algorithms so that I don't get EVERY post a member I follow has sent me up front - sually upward of 10 consecutive posts!! I've had to block one member already because of filling my home page frequently every time I open my account.

Our created content (likes), right now, others are abusing the system and taking credit for themselves by reposting our work without proper attribution. We are being robbed of the reach and recognition we earned. #BlueSky #Bsky are you reading this?>

Funny how you can now see posts in order, and are numbered, but you still have to scroll back to get to where you left off. Just spent 2 minutes trying to find the post I last read yesterday

It isn't too helpful when you're scrolling and the numbers only appear if you click on a post. Otherwise, you'd never know it's a thread. I don't usually click on a post unless I'm planning to look at the comments anyway.

As promised when you first announced, I am back to report. I like the thread numbering feature! Very handy when scrolling through a feed to see that someone's post is really just the first part. Thanks for this.

And when are you allowing us to make a single post instead of forcing a careful deliberation to be spread over a dozen posts or more? Numbered or not, threaded posts are awful!

No, only the main thread of a post by the original author. You can delete and reply again and the numbering still tracks though.

I Am Having Problems

I had some kind of trouble logging onto your App today. I have no idea why, but it would not connect & open. Took me 30 plus minutes for it to finally work! Very frustrating.

Sure would be nice if you would allow people who use the site to enable this (and yes I did reload the page)

Yeah, if anything, the page should just put anything beyond the character limit into a new post (automatically or optionally).

Word limits have helped me be more concise in what I'm trying to say. This has also carried over into my job. (I will catch myself re-reading to see if I can shorten it even more, sometimes :p)

I wouldn’t mind a small increase but we don’t need hundreds of characters in a single post either. I wouldn’t mind an extra 50 though. Needing to purposely misspell or use less known abbreviations kinda sucks.

I get that but, twitter is a shithole full of fuckwads. Bluesky people always are writing big insightful threads and I'd much prefer to contain big long threads into single posts. It'd be neat if this site got a little more blog-y if people wanted it. I just think it'd help things in context

I agree that forcing people (including myself) to be concise is really helpful. I also enjoy long threads, probably bc my dyslexia isn't as bad when things are chopped up into smaller bits.

Please consider having these come along with quotes, so people can see at a glance that the quotes post is only part of a thread. That could very much limit cherry picking arguments 😌

If you could sort the issue that causes my Android to just log me out randomly and frequently too, that'd be great..

A great feature for people who don't like repost clutter in their feeds. Alas, I unfortunately am the type of person who actually likes reposts since I've personally found them more helpful to share others creativity & be introduced to new things. Still, this'll be helpful for alot of people.

I think this is weird. I have to know who reposts too much? The problem I see is 7 accounts reposting the same thing. My idea: If account X reposts skeet A from account Y and I also follow Y, automatically hide skeet A for me.
