I built a custom Bluesky link unfurling plugin for Slack if you like sharing your favorite Bluesky posts in Slack.

conner@ecks8.connerpsmith.net

#dev #bluesky I use Slack to communicate with various groups of friends, and sharing Bluesky posts with native link unfurling hasn't always been the most reliable. So, I made my own custom link bluesky unfurler for Slack! Go here to add it: bsky.connerpsmith.net/oauth/slack/...

“it would be really sad in this moment of minnesota did not defeat republicans up and down the ballot,” ilhan omar says minnesota is not interested in a “pedophile protection party, minnesota does not come after our refugees, we send one to congress.”

Brazil’s results tonight are a big endorsement for the idea that every country should have a second “are you you sure about that” election a couple weeks after the first one for the important stuff

Jayson Tatum tonight: 36 points on 53.8% shooting 9 rebounds 7 assists 3 steals 2 turnovers That last one is a big one that might get lost in the other stuff.

The pedophile protection party’s president is laundering right-wing conspiracy theories through the most corrupt DOJ in American history. Whenever the news turns bad, this creep reaches for one name: mine. So let’s make it crystal clear. My name has always been Ilhan Omar.

This is ill informed, poorly framed and unnecessarily mocking. This is not year 0. Trans ppl have lost dozens of rights. Our lives and livelihoods are at risk. Revolutionary perfect? What nonsense. All of us, you as well, should expect candidates to stand up for civil rights. It’s a core principle

"Online Rent-a-Sage" Bret Devereaux@bretdevereaux.bsky.social

It turns out that choosing the lesser of two evils is, in fact, a moral imperative. And some folks want to wait for the Revolutionary Perfect, but I would equally challenge them to demonstrate a single time where a 'start from nothing, year-0' revolution has turned out well for most people.

The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...

This campaign isn’t just about me. It’s about my people. Election Day is November 3rd, so Minnesota let’s make our voices heard and show up for our people. Because this election isn’t just about your vote, it’s about our community💜

Remember this tweet? This is Roper from the Strib. He had already written his column on car window smashing when he met with us (at our request hours before his deadline). He’s just written another column bashing me for, among other things, being “academic” and he still doesn’t understand the data.

marymoriarty.bsky.social@marymoriarty.bsky.social

All he had from police were anecdotes unsupported by evidence, all of which were refuted by our data, emails, etc.. His response, “I feel like I’m in the middle.” What happened to reporting? Hard(?) questions to police like, “What evidence do you have to support this?

The Kincaid experiment should be considered a bust. Trade him for some picks so we can actually get some WRs instead of a TE who's hurt all the time

katherine fitzgerald@kfitz134.bsky.social

TE Dalton Kincaid (ribs) is questionable to return.

Low key hated doing fumble drills because punching the ball out kinda hurts! Even worse when someone misses the ball and tries to break your arm with a punch instead

I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

1. Throw him in prison (take a pick of his crimes) 2. Nationalize his wealth and companies (don't have to disentangle is it is the govt!) 3. Profit (universal health care)

is there anyone thinking/writing about the actual mechanics of disentangling the US government from elon musk?

Tax billionaire wealth. I frankly don't care if a billionaire can make a second billion. I'd rather have the average person be able to make their first $100k.

Donald Trump's ICE just purchased the Appleton private prison for $496 million, making it the biggest real estate transaction in Minnesota history. I was proud to stand with folks in Appleton to protest this facility, and I'm ready to do the same in the U.S. Senate.

Part of why I don't like the AI-or-bust economy is the constant flopsweat of people on the news who say this HAS to work. Quit making everyone so anxious. Goddamn. If this is the next Google then why are you acting like this? I don't remember being told to buy an iPhone at gunpoint.

The only purpose of these CMs is to say "no" to everything the Left proposes. There's not a single original thought or idea among them.

The City Council just passed this resolution asking the Hennepin County Sheriff and University of Minnesota to take down all of their flock cameras. Seems like a no-brainer issue that would be a unanimous vote right? Council Members Rainville, Vetaw, Shaffer, and Palmisano voted no.

rodgers and brady are goofus and gallant. tom brady believes all the same shit, he was literally best friends with donald trump before he got elected, but have you ever heard him express a single political opinion publicly? he’s smarter than that

The Zacharyville Horror@zachpennington.com

Brady's mostly a buffoon. Rodgers, otoh, is worthy of hate. I do reserve the right to hate Brady in the future though.
