Please take some time to think how tough it is for teachers these days. No wonder so many are burning out 💔

Dave M@daveryan96.bsky.social

In my own experience (8th? year now) it's the complete lack of any real time in the day to have any 'slack'. Everything has to be done at a frantic pace to have any chance of squeezing most of your to do list in. Along with being constantly undermined by lack of equipment and behaviour....

I am indebted to Ranveer Sin for showing the nation there is no need to be cruel to animals #DontWearAPuppy

Sorry, Wes, but no. That’s YOUR job as the bluddy govt to STOP these things from happening to your people

Somewhere in a Roman brickyard, around 1800 years ago, a fresh tile was drying peacefully ahead of firing - until a dog trotted straight across it. Centuries later, the tile has made it into a museum: not because of an emperor, but thanks to one dog who accidentally walked his way into history. 📷️me

I don’t have the words for how repulsed I am by the ITV Reform documentary I am but one human being but I say from my heart, please know that those awful ppl are not a majority 💔 I have never and would never think like they do about anyone with a different skin colour, religion or culture to me

If a single human in the UK chooses Reform when they know FULL well what they are then they are not British.

I feel sick. Wish I had never watched the first three minutes. Utterly revolting. Racist to the core.

I know I’m probably alone in this but I couldn’t gaf about other people listening to music on public transport. Why not fine people who talk REALLY loudly in braying groups at 5am about their “terrible tenants” and doing horse-y laughter

There are people born today who will never know the ‘luxury’ of spending an hour on a Saturday evening choosing a video tape from Blockbusters and finding it’s not in stock and choosing another one.

Who else would lead The Reform Company into an election 🤔 Hitler is deceased Putin is busy The ghost of Mosley?

Sunder Katwala (sundersays)@sundersays.bsky.social

Nigel Farage is about 50-50 to lead his party at the general election. His being leader makes it hard for Reform to compete to win: idea of Farage as PM mobilises opposition to Reform My view is that a successor would find it harder than Farage to stay in a contest to be the main Opposition

Article in I opinion about rise in daschunds. Small but challenging dogs!! Two in the village where I live have attacked my dog as they are born with a job to do 🤦🏼‍♀️🫣

Worried about AI taking your job? Social care workers are more confident than workers in any other sector that their jobs will still exist in 10–20 years. Human skills, empathy and personal responsibility matter. Care isn't low-skill work. It's work with a future. Andrew Harrop reports.

eastangliabylines.co.ukSurprising findings: social care is not ‘bad work’New research shows that people who provide social care to working-age adults have better quality jobs than other workers on low and middle pay

Zelensky smiled when asked by Sky News whether Trump was trying to make him a “scapegoat” for problems including low ratings, high diesel prices and the war in the Middle East. Zelenskyy initially stayed silent, then said: “That is my answer.” #Ukraine

If the first job of a government is to protect its people, then why the actual f were Uk citizens not protected from Russian interference in OUR referendums

This is worth having.

The fight for better press regulation continues. Anna Sabine has secured a meeting with Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy, alongside Tulisa Contostavlos, after raising the issue in Parliament. Lib Dems will keep pushing for Leveson’s recommendations to be implemented and a Part Two inquiry.
