Know your rights, use them. You do not have to carry or produce ID for Gardaí on ‘cross-border’ public transport during an immigration raid if you are British or Irish citizens and you feel safe to do so. Producing it provides cover for racial profiling by Gardaí. [1/4]

Last week we learned that permanent LFR cameras will be installed on Oxford Street in December. Yet the Govt. hasn't published its response to the public consultation that closed in Feb. And there is still no legal framework to protect the public's rights. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home...

What is the BBC's justification for maintaining this level of coverage of Reform now it has slipped into third place?

Alex Andreou@sturdyalex.bsky.social

BBC News just interrupted its coverage to go, live, to Nigel Farage - a man with no contitutional standing in our setup - responding to the budget - a document which nobody has seen yet. WHY

End Deportations Belfast are quoted in the Belfast Telegraph. 'Nesbitt, who has long-established links to loyalists in N. Ireland and is believed to be a member of the UVF, has been caught on camera boasting he can arrange assassinations for cash with the proceeds funding his terrorist pals.' [1/3]

belfasttelegraph.co.ukHitman boasts he can arrange contract killings for cash to buy guns for UVFAllan Nesbitt, who has long-established links to loyalists in Northern Ireland and is believed to be a member of the UVF

[Nesbitt] is a central figure in Contract Killers and the Far Right investigation by Al Jazeera that exposes links between the right-wing student movement Turning Point UK, which has organised and participated in anti-immigrant protests in the UK and Nesbitt, who can arrange murders for money. [2/3]

“How deep does this go?”, spokesperson for End Deportations told us. “We’ve highlighted a stream of N. Irish far-right visiting Scotland in recent months, including Mark Sinclair, Glen Kane and Neil Pinkerton. Also, loyalist Jim Dowson is raising funds for Scots far-right ‘vigilante’ groups.” [3/3]

Under the Watchful Eye™ of the police's permanent, unregulated live facial recognition cameras, visit the street where everyone is a suspect

I've always believed Oxford Street could be so much more than a road. Today we begin a new chapter as the nation’s high street goes traffic free, creating a place where people can spend time, enjoy the atmosphere and experience the very best of our city.

Today, TUV MP Jim Allister who in recent weeks had to deny that he’s a racist in the Belfast Newsletter, took to the airwaves to claim it was apartheid to dissent to an exclusionary and supremacist march on Garvaghy Road. [1/3]

Never forget what Jim Allister said about violent, white supremacist, paramilitary-backed ethnic cleansing in Ballymena .. "It has transformed the feel in the area. There's no longer people standing around our street corners here." Or his racist 'Migrant Express' cartoon. [2/3]

And again, during the Garvaghy Road dispute on Radio Ulster he claimed that Garvaghy Road had changed since the 1990s and now had migrants in it - as if new communities were less deserving of living in peace. No lessons on history from this man. [3/3]

The terrible human cost of externalisation.

How has the situation evolved in Calais in the past 10 years? Not surprisingly, it got even worse, as episodes of violence carried out by the police have increased.
