In North Carolina yesterday, Dem & unaffiliated early voters continued their rush to the polls, again beating their 2018 turnout (trump's previous midterm). GOP balloting, by contrast, continued to slump, as Republicans seem to have just given up in disgust. Dems now lead Reps by 213K EV ballots. 🌊

The age dependence of early voting action in North Carolina is the weirdest thing I've ever seen. Dems' & UNAs' improvement vs 2018 is across the board, but highest for the youngest and oldest voters. Meanwhile gopers' slump is due to voters less than 55, while goper boomers remain true to MAGA.
