Hennepin County: tell your loved ones about Cedrick Frazier

Jill Bernard@jillybee72.bsky.social

I’m still laughing at the desperate way I handed my husband a piece of paper that said CEDRICK FRAZIER at the early voting center, because I realized we hadn’t talked about the whole ballot.

guy who went to work on what should have been a simple plug and play project, but has spent the last few hours troubleshooting whether the rtl8812au drivers are even properly configured to run on arch linux arm

Looks like we’re getting another Blaisdell-style curb protected bikeway on 40th very soon. Will be interesting to see if the city learned any lessons from Blaisdell’s intersections.

This will be a nice companion to 40th St imminently getting curb protection added to the current 2 way bollard-“protected” bikeway. www.minneapolismn.gov/government/p...

huh. looks like the construction on 42nd st. will add curb-protected intersections to support a (future state?) two-way bike lane on the north side of the street? project scope only extends to Bloomington so there will be a weird diagonal crossing there for a while/forever

Early this year, I visited Ingram, a TX town of ~1,900, to check out a tip. The area was starting to recover from its worst flood in a century. But as Latino workers drove to jobsites to help rebuild, the tipster said, a cop in a black Dodge Charger kept stopping them ... 🧵

I found that one Ingram officer was clocking in far more hours and raking in more funds working for ICE than his coworkers, according to paystubs and timesheets I later acquired. Sometimes, he spent an entire 12-hour shift working for ICE.
