Not quite “no-one” as @rory-stewart.bsky.social spelled out in his memoir “Politics On The Edge”. He wasn’t alone. Yet the Tories still promoted her.

David Higham@oldtrotter.bsky.social

The most worrying thing about Truss isn’t her short lived premiership but the fact that she’d been a Cabinet Minister since 2014 and no-one appeared to have noticed her problematic character traits www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

So inured is BBC News to referencing any single thing with a negative connotation to Farage, it completely overlooks the fact his crypto-billionaire funder Christopher Harborne sits sixth, with a grubby £18.1bn. Plenty more where that £5m came from, clearly. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Note that Farage has been found to have breached the code of conduct 17 times so far. And the consequences? Sweet FA

Pippa Crerar@pippacrerar.bsky.social

Understand that Nigel Farage is being investigated for a potential breach of rule 5 of MPs code of conduct which says that new MPs must register "all their current financial interests, and any registrable benefits" received in the 12 months before their election within one month of their election.

Doesn't pay any tax in the UK because he ran away to the Tax Haven Singapore to escape the effects of the Brexit he helped create. Then he bought up hundred of millions of pounds of farmland to avoid tax, then cried when it was made taxable. James Dyson is a scumbag.

Fourteen-jobs Farage has no time for his constituents. He barely attends parliament and has never held a single surgery in Clacton with people who elected him. Whose interests does he serve?

📌 ICYMI — Revealed: The Staggering Amount of Time Nigel Farage has Spent on ‘Second’ Jobs Since Becoming an MP The Reform UK leader has logged more than 1,100 hours for 14 outside employers since his election in July 2024

Nigel Farage has cried fraud every single time he has lost an election. Oldham. Peterborough. Rochdale. Gorton and Denton. Every time, no evidence. Every time, the result stood. The man calling postal voting a threat to democracy voted by post himself in 2024. Reform Watch launches Friday.

Starmer is exhibiting a degree of dignity that the right-wing press are uncomfortable with. I’m surprised that no one has recently posted the front pages of the Daily Wail when they were overt Nazi supporters.

Have we woken up in America? The deeply unpatriotic Daily Mail and Sun seem to now be supporting a menace of a foreign leader over our own govt and national security. They are really only loyal to their own vested interests. Which are a direct threat to our own. The routine betrayal is sickening.

It’s can’t be said enough — this is a wildly corrupt betrayal of the MAHA crowd, and flies in the face of everything RFK JR has ever promised them. Driven entirely by greed and paying off their big pesticide corporation donors.

This👇. Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson and Jacob Rees Mogg should all be brought before a parliamentary committee to explain their connection to Steve Bannon, Jeffrey Epstein, the Brexit referendum and Russian interference in our elections. What is the punishment for treason?

Peter Jukes@peterjukes.bsky.social

Now more details in the Epstein files reveal Bannon as part of a successful plot to topple Theresa May with Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson and Jacob Rees Mogg, here’s an article from the archive about Johnson and Bannon’s collaboration bylinetimes.com/2023/04/24/b...

Oh, god. Are we still banging on about Starmer's leadership because every right-wing pundit got it wrong in spades over the last week? The news is that our fourth estate has lost the fucking plot. Where's the focus on Palantir, Brexit, Fartage and the pollination of their treason by Epstein?

Since #bbclaurak is trending, let’s remind ourselves that ONE MONTH ago, the BBC invited Mandelson on for a soft-ball interview on her show. While HIS CLIENT , Palantir’s Louis Moseley appeared as a pundit Both, as I wrote at time, were ‘abject failures of journalism’ 1/

'The Conservative (Tory) government was responsible for negotiating and awarding major contracts to US data analytics firm Palantir Technologies, particularly concerning the NHS and the Ministry of Defence.' Shouldn't the press have picked up on this when Tories gave out contracts?

The Times calls Keir Starmer's decision to hire Peter Mandelson an "egregious error" which deserves an "inquiry into the appointment process." Not included is any demand for an inquiry into their own appointment of him, long after his post-conviction relationship with Jeffrey Epstein was exposed
