It feels like the world is crumbling around my ears, but then I read something like this, and remember when I had to search for hours to find the angelfire shrine with a thinkpiece about whether having sex with Zelgadis would hurt. *Wipes away tear* Horny freaks on the Internet have come so far.

‘Wicker’ stars Alexander Skarsgård as a man made entirely of wicker, complete with a rock-hard wicker dick. But what about splinters? Bacteria? Degradation? Would it be advisable, from a sexual-health perspective, to mount a basket dick? We asked a gynecologist: vulture.visitlink.me/DNQwX5

This is a very good tutorial. I used it and got something up on the web! Something that has space for a gallery, even! ...It's still just the freaking template and I haven't had the breathing space to edit it yet but it's on the web. BIG progress!

Going to plug my website guide once again: blog.itsnero.com/webguide/ This will get you online with a website in an afternoon. It's not the fanciest or most modern way to do it, but it's code that has worked for decades. Get yourself a site ASAP and figure out what else you need to do later.

It's small and stupid compared to everything right now, but...I'm about three months out from losing my MIL. Which means that I am moving to rural Michigan by year's end. I have to start all over, in a place I did not want to go. Again. I'm so heartsick.

My sister in law had an inspired idea to make cold brew coffee yesterday, so I got to try cold brew coffee with condensed coconut milk, ice, and barista blend oat milk for the first time this morning. *Weeping gently* It works. It WORKS! Omg I missed these. Take that, lactose intolerance!

"verify your age" I had a pass/fail class in college where the final assignment required you to render all the projects you had made in Maya into 3-point angle, short animations, compile them into a reel with a dynamic soundtrack, and then burn it onto a VHS. If the tape played, you passed.

There was a -delightful- fellow in a creative writing college class who told me that the character who gave a suicidal child a seed to plant and nurture so she could grow up with it and find out what it became, should be the one who burned that tree down later in the story as an act of "tough love".

If you see this, please tell me the worst/most baffling bit of creative feedback you've ever recieved. Mine is still the time somebody told me my aliens had names that were too alien. Not that they were unpronounceable, just that they didn't sound enough like human names.

I’m not tired of the Reflecting Pool Jello models everyone took to their relatives’ houses for the 4th yet. They’re so creative! Although this one I’d prob not eat. A bit too realistic.

Here's a list of all kinds of medications that may interact with heat leading to a higher risk of overheating/heatstroke. Please take care of yourselves and if you have friends/family who take these medications make sure they know the higher risk. ❤️

I just reread these. They're still fantastic.

"Treasures ask not how you won them." By Crom! is a complete webcomic by Shel Kahn - wry autobiographical comics about helpful life advice from Conan the Barbarian. The original run is now free to read online again. stories.portablecity.net/stories/comi... #Comics #ConanTheBarbarian #Advice

This thread is incredible. "Back in my day we didn't have cellphones, so we built siege weapons out of garbage, set things on fire, and punched each other to pass the time." I'm reminded of the boy scout who built a nuclear reactor in his backyard.

When people talk about taking kids' devices away w/o addressing how they have fuck all else to do, I think about the insane shit all the bored suburban kids I knew got up to before cell phones You can't just take their phones away or they're gonna get into making homemade napalm & burn a field down

Reposting this because I went on the 27th, and I had a fantastic time. And, yeah. I felt safer as a queer person. The Loring Park Pride was fine, lots of artists worth supporting and fun to be had -- but this was where I felt like I was -at Pride-. I KNEW people here. I ran into friends, here.

I got a good chuckle out of this.

twin cities pride organizers placed the DFL next to the communists lol. “are you sick of capitalism? we are the revolutionary communists!” this is gonna be funny when candidates are here

odd to see the “FREE BIBLES” people talk to members of the church of satan after they conducted an un-baptism at twin cities pride.

taylr@taylordahlin.com

watching a satanist un-baptism taking place in front of the FREE BIBLES people??

As the glitter and the adrenaline wears off, I'm left with an interesting pair of memories: Kobey Layne was there, herself, at the alternative Pride. She smiled and greeted people as they passed. Amy Klobuchar's -volunteers- were running a very nice tent at TC Pride, full of pretty merch.
