Voters aren't looking for scared or fencesitting. They want someone who feels real and authentic, with genuine beliefs and solutions for a better tomorrow. Support a real one when you see them, I promise they're electable. apnews.com/article/demo...

Realized I was a bit demure in the AM update: Essentially, Black people account for 34% of every vote cast but are only 31.3% of the electorate. So big over performance. Registered democrats account for 43% of every vote cast but are only 36% of the electorate. Low key Obama level voter turnout.

Michele@geauxwithmichele.com

Day 5 (10/24 Results) Orleans #2 overall for EV totals on track to make JBE Runoff EV! Statewide DEM & Black voters showed up! Practically 34% of all votes were cast by Black voters and DEM vote share rebounded. No statewide Sat turnout bump but on pace to beat 2022 midterms & 75% to JBE runoff.

Fun fact.. Obama 2012 (post election returns) is the high water mark for Black voting in Louisiana with 67% turnout.

Bini@biniman.bsky.social

OK one more for now: Black voter share is comparable to Obama 2012... but this is a midterm

Black voters are now OUTVOTING their share of the rolls 31% of registered voters are Black, and they're 34% of the early vote so far (up from 26% in 2022)

Apparently, some Houston voters are putting their I Voted stickers on the Lorenzo Salgado Araujo memorial. Stephen Miller is ALREADY trying to scapegoat others for losing whatever races they lose in Texas and elsewhere. This is a vivid testament that for some voters, his murder squad is the reason.

Day 4 (10/23 Results) interesting stuff coming tomorrow but briefly Black voters continue over performing, DEM voter strength weakening but still out performing based on registrations. Orleans #3 in vote count. Orleans poised to beat 2022 midterms and at 60% to goal for JBE Runoff.

I’ve spent 17 years teaching children that our Constitution matters and that no one is above the law. I won’t go to Congress and look the other way. I’m committed to filing articles of impeachment on day one.

Day 3 (10/22 Results) Y'all still vote tho! Day/day increase 32%. Black voters overperforming (.59%). DEM voters overperforming (6.7%) but the lead is shrinking. Orleans #3 in vote count. District D winning in Orleans. Predicting Saturday turnout will pass Nov 2022 primary & possibly JBE 2019.

Some fun langiappe. New Orleans is close to making May 2016 primary early voting and is on track to meet other milestones such as the 2025 mayoral race and 2019 JBE runoff election. 🤞🏽in the 28-32k range after Saturday. Take a friend to a early voting second line!

🚨NEW STORY🚨 Farmer Jamie Davis is closing the gap as he bids to be Louisiana’s first Black U.S. Senator since Reconstruction, leaving Julia Letlow without the sure victory Republicans had hoped for. "This is not going to be a slam dunk," a pollster warns. thelensnola.org/2026/10/23/j...

🚨🚨🚨 Just got info from the Jamie Davis (Louisiana US Dem candidate) campaign that a poll taken from 9/17 to 9/19 shows he's within 4 points of US Rep. Julia Letlow (the R senate candidate) in the Louisiana US senate race. Of note, Letlow's name recognition is double that of Davis. (82% vs. 41%)

ICYMI: Farmers aren't supposed to run for Congress. But when the only things growing in Louisiana are grocery bills, gas prices, and Mike Johnson’s bank account, Congress doesn’t need another politician - it needs a farmer.

New Orleans Marie I'm not going to yell at you (yet). Every single precinct is represented as having early voted. Instead I'm challenging y'all to who can beat May 2026 early voting. As per usual, District E is in the lead.

Y'all keep voting though and being that annoying friend we have a lot of ground to cover. Orleans should hit close to 21k and head into the weekend exceeding total early vote for May 16 (24k). Next week I wanna talk about being over 40k JBE runoff / 2025 mayoral early vote numbers.

See you this weekend at the ACAB Zine Fest! Three days of events at multiple locations in New Orleans, with vendors, music, speakers, workshops, oh my! You can find the complete schedule on instagram.

I don't stan politicians but this is what's up. Brad Lander going to Palestine and exposing the propaganda. More people in Congress need to volunteer with the olive harvest if they want to learn and reject the sanitized state sponsored trip.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry is lying. No coordination was required, and we were never told that it was. We were not in a restricted security area. We did not pass any checkpoints.

Hope core but still go effing vote. 11 parishes majority voters Black 33 parishes majority voters registered Dems. I've seen better Black turnout but this is a Dem over performance.

Also is there someone smarter than me who can explain why there are NEW PRECINCTS like (17/37, 17/18C) suddenly in Orleans? Is this redistricting foolishness? And why is a 17th ward precinct in city council district D?

Very important that y'all don't sleep on this PSC race. Stephanie Hilferty is Julia Letlow in a different font.

I’ve been released from IDF custody with a “warning,” apparently because of my public profile (I told them I wasn’t even a congressmember yet, just a nominee). But several dozen rabbis & participants harvesting olives with me are still in detention.

Louisiana, early voting continues today! As you head to your early voting location, keep your eyes peeled for our campaign signs! 👀 I’m showing up across District 6 to engage with voters and hear about the issues that matter most to them, and I need YOU showing up to the polls! 🔥💙

Federal data center moratorium is what the moment needs because what do you mean a $80 billion dollar loss isn’t forcing you as a company to self impose a construction moratorium?

Louisiana is comparing abortion pills to anthrax and fentanyl because they view embryos as legal people. Claims this is a reason the Supreme Court should take the challenge to abortion shield laws. I've seen fentanyl comparison before but not anthrax... www.ag.state.la.us/Files/Articl...
