BREAKING: the clock struck midnight and our bipartisan housing bill is now law. Trump refused to sign it, but he couldn't stop it. This law is GROUNDBREAKING. It will build more housing, bring down costs, and for the first time, stop private equity from buying up homes.

Last month I decided to stop wearing my FDT bracelet most of the time. Not because I don’t hate Trump. I do. But because blaming one man for where our country is at is stupid. The whole political system is to blame. Every person who lives in this country is responsible for enacting change.

U.S. troops aren’t supposed to be policing an American city just because the president thinks it’s enemy territory. There’s no reason for this guard deployment to Memphis and definitely no reason for them to be shooting or killing ANYONE there Out

Don’t look away from Memphis. Don’t look away from Houston. Don’t look away at the nationwide ICE surge. The trump administration is counting on you losing interest and falling for its tweak in tactics. zeteo.com/p/trumps-vio...

NEWS --> Three men who were in the van with the victim of the ICE shooting in Texas are potential witnesses, but they're now under pressure to self-deport, a rep for the families tells me. They remain in detention even as ICE's story falters. Details in this piece: newrepublic.com/article/2129...

ICE desperately wants you not to care about this story But we must. The killing of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a Mexican national striving for his American Dream, is a moral outrage, and a warning. ICE hopes you won't notice that mass deportation is back My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/ice-...

I don’t understand how people can run for office knowing they have insane baggage and/or crimes. Like I spent the entire campaign expecting AIPAC to somehow dig up my middle school livejournal fanfic account. I prepared my family for it. I’m still amazed it didn’t happen.

That child holding an empty bowl — that’s not a stock photo. That’s America right now. 770,000 kids stripped of SNAP benefits so the wealthiest among us could get another tax cut. If this doesn’t move you, I don’t know what will. #RepublicansStarveChildren

I haven't been this impressed with a candidate in a l-o-n-g time. If @jamestalarico.bsky.social is the future of the Democratic Party, we are in VERY good shape.

When we win, the first bill I’m filing is a comprehensive anti-corruption package: Overturn Citizens United Ban corporate PACs and super PACs Ban members of Congress from trading stocks Once we defeat the most corrupt politician in America, we can defeat this entire corrupt system.

I’ve been a little insane. I escaped a psych ward so I could stay in partial hospitalization basically but that was just imprisonment with my mom and I still ended up getting drugged but I’m alright now.

Donald Trump is trying to auction off nearly 700,000 acres of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil and gas drilling right now. Whether it’s Chaco Canyon, Oak Flat, or the Arctic—we stand with Tribal Nations and our communities to protect these lands. These lands are not for sale! ✊

This is bad. Three Washington state protesters have been found guilty of federal conspiracy charges for sitting in front of a bus taking people to an immigration detention center in Tacoma, and now face 6 years. Six others took plea deals rather than going to trial. newrepublic.com/post/211138/...
