A study of over 200 companies revealed that, on average, businesses waste 22% of their Microsoft 365 budget on unused or underutilized licenses. This figure holds even for small 10-person offices (where 2 unneeded licenses equal 20% waste). www.gitbit.org/docs/microso...

My rules for writing my own software and scripts: 1. Make it quick & dirty. 2. Put the script somewhere that makes sense 3. Lose where you put it. 4. Search everywhere for that stupid script 5. Say F it and re-write it. 6. Go to save it and find the old script.

my rules for system design: 1. try to avoid designing a system 2. if you find yourself stuck designing a system, make it a small one

go ask your favorite AI model (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude) this: "Based on what you know about me, what’s the trap I keep getting stuck in historically?"

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is right. Young children don't need AI teachers, but here's the catch. I do believe in AI teachers, especially in certain circumstances. Imagine: instead of going and sitting in a college course with hundreds of other students, you throw...

GAME-CHANGER: Custom PowerPoint Skills are now deployable enterprise-wide! Admins can package 1 custom skill & push it to select teams or the whole org inside M365 Copilot—locking in brand rules, QA & slide standards instantly. Microsoft is turning deck skills into scalable IP. Massive.

A list of everything my autonomous agents now have: 1. Identity 2. Owner 3. Budget 4. A kill switch If nobody can stop it, it can't be governed

AI won't save your broken schema. You can write the most brilliant prompt in human history, but if it’s sitting on top of garbage tables, it’s just going to generate high-efficiency garbage.

Sam Altman is wrong. He recently said, "Clearly, people hate data centers" Which couldn't be further from the truth. I've heard 3 complaints about data centers: 1. They use a lot of power, causing the electric bills of the neighborhood to rise.

2. They use a lot of water, causing water shortages and water bills to rise. 3. They are loud, causing noise pollution in the neighborhoods. You'll notice all three items don't really have to do with data centers.

They don't have anything to do with AI. They don't have anything to do with businesses in general. People are sick and tired of businesses keeping the profits while causing everyone around them to suffer. All three of these issues have a clear resolution.

Microsoft Copilot is a hot mess. Keep seeing features and buttons from other people that I can't find. Can't wait for it all to be consolidated so I can try this crap out.

The Atmosphere is going to completely change after this rolls out. We're already seeing folks implement this off spec, but I think the ecosystem is going to look very different toward the end of the year, in a positive way.

so excited to get this in folks' hands and to see what people build with it! it’s been a lot of work getting here & i'm proud of where it's at check it out, bang on it, break it, see where it doesn't work. let's make sure this is something we're all excited about & can take pride in building on

Anytime someone finishes an email with "Can you do that?" My answer is no. Doesn't matter what the request is. You gave me an out, and I'm taking it. Wonder if I can make an agent do that for me? This is the peak of my laziness.

Yeah, everything will be wild if progress continues. We might not have to test code if LLMs get good enough. For now generating/build/testing all take time. But for at least the next 6-12 months, we're likely to be in pretty much the current situation, with incremental progress in models/harnesses.

You know what's weird about BlueSky? It lacks conversations. There are very few questions being asked. There are very few ideas being challenged. It's just people dumping their thoughts and links, trying to get heard. This is SOCIAL media. How do you get a conversation started on BlueSky?

Microsoft 365 is the worst thing to ever be invented... And also, somehow amazing. Opening Outlook or Teams- heck, even logging into Windows every day feels like roulette. Will it work? Will I get prompted for my password 8 times? But power. From Outlook to Excel to Teams, it can do everything

You are up to date.
