Step 1 - Notify all the mainstream media and stage a walk out. Step 2 - Have a plan in place to address the public. You don’t need multiple speakers Step 3 - No need to rant. Explain what a traitor is. Remind them of Benedict Arnold Step 4 - Define who the domestic enemy is.

This is very odd to me. Opposition parties have no duty to support the government and would never do so in the UK on the fundamentals. They might support individual government bills, but in confidence or budget votes they will always vote no. Obviously. That's why the government needs a majority.

I guess the key difference is that in the UK the Prime Minister is automatically the leader of the largest party (or coalition) in parliament, and that isn't guaranteed in the States. Also our PM appoints his government without approval from anyone.

Unfortunately we’re a reactionary society, we are always fixing problems, we can’t seem to understand how important is to be proactive. When confronting authoritarian oligarchs, the chances of success are very minimal. I’m a realist. I lived 23 yrs in Argentina, from 67 to 90, under constant coups.

The senate has several mechanisms (procedural) that they can employ to gum up the works. McConnell gave them the playbook and they need to use it. In addition, they need to keep the spotlight on everything. Keep the media focused on Musk’s takeover of the federal government. Control the narrative
