The Strangers is a fantastic novel (memoir? something else?) and reviewing it was both a challenge and a pleasure.

If you think you can tell how fit someone is by their appearance, you might spend an instructive ten minutes watching a charity run go by.

The idea is like grass. It craves light, likes crowds, thrives on crossbreeding, grows better for being stepped on.

OK hear me out. A "human made" badge that can only be gained by completing half an hour of work under exam conditions to demonstrate you are capable of this work without the help of AI. Invigilated by four volunteer peers. And the badge is a number that you look up on a website to prove it's legit.

I do not believe that A) a 50 mins AI ep of Doctor Who could be generated containing anything approaching a story and B) anyone would sit through it, let along describe it as 'pretty good', so I'd love to know what the real story is here.
