If you're an ally, you need to respect trans people more than that. If you're trans yourself, you can't tie your self-worth to this kind of thing. You're trans because you say so, not because of a p<0.05 statistically significant difference in grey matter in some regions.

🥹 yeaahhhh i do really appreciate the positive feedback and compliments tooooo. both on like a "of course i love it when gorgeous women compliment me" level and also on a "oh god im getting positive feedback on this action fuck yes im like the rat pressing the button and getting cheese-" level 🩷

I know absolutely nothing about Lula except that i saw someone share a clip on insta of him in celebration kissing a trans woman politician on the cheek and oh my god is that a radical act for a politician in 2026 so lets fucking go

idk the thing is for a long time I would just say to myself “just try to visualize what a cool put-together stylish woman would wear” until eventually I realized I *was* the cool put-together stylish woman. Faking it until making it works for almost anything btw

omg yes so much yes

It’s hard to find a way to be ourselves full time. Rarely do folks talk about that period between egg crack and full time, the way we negotiate with ourselves to be ourselves. The way we hold on to the tastes of euphoria that surprise us with its fleeting intensity. Your are doing great.

this sounds amazing actually

mortified when i get all my friends together for a tabletop rpg weekend and they all show up with their dice, character sheets, and an assortment of julia figurines for using on the battle maps

never been to the new ball park, but was lucky to go to County Stadium a dozen times. saw Rob Deer hit a 3 run homer to win an Easter game. Can't believe I'm here to see them in the world series, holy shit it's been a hell of a year

With the election looming, the GOP is calling in the big guns. Which means having a megachurch freak named Timmy dispatch an army of walleyed 23yo home-school casualties with YouTube diction to opposing candidates' rallies, where they will demand those candidates reject and denounce the WNBA.

all are welcome, go brewers baby

the brewers have always been on my "if the astros are out and they're in, i'm rooting for them" team list. i used to go to games at miller park as a kid with family that lives in oconomowoc. go brewers babey

Other women’s photos on r/transtimelines got me actually excited to transition instead of apprehensive. I posted a lot more there early on for encouragement, but nowadays I’m beyond needing approval. I post there once a year or so to be the same kind of motivator for the next girl. And it works.

This means that in order to achieve happiness you actually have to put in the effort of love, socialization and self-criticism. All of which will still be painful and fraught with difficulty.

I would simply like to live my quiet little life as a trans woman and buy fruit and sing and walk my dog and wave to my neighbors and watch movies and use restrooms without being the subject of a culture “war” where both political parties agree I’m a disgusting freak who doesn’t deserve civil rights

seven years ago today i started transitioning. it's not a great time to be trans but i wouldn't have the life i do or the career i have if i hadn't taken the leap and done the hard thing. you only get one chance at living. if you're not doing it authentically, what's the point?
