I hear separatists say that Alberta pays income tax to the federal government, but we never get ANYTHING from Ottawa. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Here are some facts for you. Considering that Oil & Gas in 🇨🇦 received federal subsidies of $29.6B in 2024 & $10.2B in 2025, how could O&G fund an entire country if AB separated?

I live in a small town in NE Scotland close to where chunks of the #Odyssey was filmed. Nolan’s cast and crew were all lovely and spent money like water in our hard-up area. He even made sure our tiny cinemas got on-time release of it when we normally have to wait for big movies. Thanks Chris.

Premier Lougheed put a moratorium on coal mining in our Rockies in 1976 b/c 80% of AB’s drinking water originates from that area. Danielle Smith wants to allow an Australian billionaire to establish coal mines there, even though selenium would contaminate rivers all the way to Hudson’s Bay.
