CORRECTION: They dissolved *some* of the Washington Post journalist's body in acid. The *rest* they barbecued on a grill until it was incinerated. I know because I wrote a chapter on it in Proof of Conspiracy (Macmillan). Trump thereafter bragged about "saving MBS's ass." These are all monsters.

In normal times, it would be a major scandal for the President to direct his AG to criminally investigate his political opponents to deflect from his own involvement in a major scandal — and for the AG to immediately announce she is doing it. The Epstein scandal and cover up just got even bigger.

CNN reports that only 2% of the 600+ people arrested without probable cause or warrants in the Chicagoland area in violation of a standing court order had any criminal records at all. The idea that these are the worst people on the planet only makes sense if you see them as Nazis saw Jews in 1940.

Donald Trump is ordering extrajudicial killings of suspected drug smugglers. He's vilifying his political opponents and threatening to jail them. His ICE agents are terrorizing immigrants and firing chemical agents at peaceful protestors. And some people think he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize?

BREAKING: A federal judge has temporarily blocked President Trump from deploying federalized National Guard troops into Chicago. This ruling reinforces what we already knew: It is illegal for the president to use manufactured emergencies to send soldiers into our cities.

Everything Trump is doing now is a preamble for his regime's real goal: to invoke the Insurrection Act. I don’t want to unduly alarm you, but you need to be aware of this imminent danger. Let me explain what’s going on.

Shapiro: I filed that amicus brief last night to make it very clear that the Pennsylvania National Guard is under my command. The way the President has chosen to deploy the Guard in other states—and, in at least one case, deploy the Guard from one state into another—is extremely dangerous.

Presidents get too much credit when the American economy is strong & too much blame when it isn’t. But in the case of farmers who can’t sell crops, Trump clearly gets 100% of the blame. Rare when you can point to economic disaster in a sector directly attributable to a president.

Where are the calls for handling the scourge of cis white male people who perform mass shootings? Should their access to guns removed because they are clearly, as a group, a threat?

Are we going to discuss their mental illness? Are they going to be seen as a group that is exceptionally violent, unstable, and prone to perpetrating mass shootings? Multiple shootings in a single day perpetrated by cis white men clearly shows there is a huge problem with such people, right?

Jimmy Kimmel returns tomorrow. This is an important victory for free speech. Remember that it was YOU all using your power TOGETHER that got a gigantic corporation to reverse itself. Bless everyone who participated in telling Mickey Mouse to fuck off.

Senator Cruz is the Chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, which has jurisdiction over the FCC. He's right on this — it's unbelievably dangerous for the Trump administration to be pulling people off the air for speech they don't like.

If you are one of the almost 100 Dems who voted to honor the guy who said the Civil Rights Act was a huge mistake, don’t bother asking Black people to vote for you, donate to you or canvass for you next year. Don’t bother. Please. And don’t be shocked if you get a primary opponent.
