How to calculate the largest number in existence: Add up all the podcasts with basic white guys interviewing other basic white guys and then multiply that by comedians interviewing other comedians. You could then divide thatby true crime podcasts but why bother?

I jokingly said it was Starship Troopers inspired. The small print confirms it is. Turns out the Republicans are the only Americans who didn’t misinterpret who the bad guys were in that film. Kudos.

Seriously, they just told Grok to make the imperial officer uniforms from Star Wars but “more Hitlery.”

DREDD reread has reached COMPLETE CASEFILES v09 - we kick off with a classic, "Midnight Surfer", Cam Kennedy on art duties and in full force. The return of Chopper and it's his strip, Dredd is the antagonist, a role he will fulfil more in future as the strip evolves. Fertile seeds planted here.

Okay, so when the regime falls, and it will, they all do, I think the Democrats are going to have to put that entire brainwashed third of the country into some sort of re-education camp and sort them the fuck out. They can’t just be left to fester, they need to be fixed. Might seem a bit extreme…

I agree 100% I’ve seen this film dozens of time and I can honestly say it help form my feminist outlook. Also, a lifelong appreciation for the wonderful talents of Dolly, Jane, Lily, Dabney and of course Elizabeth Wilson as the incredible Roz. ‘I’ll turn you from a rooster to a hen with one shot!’

If you haven't lately (or ever) this would be a great time to re/watch 9 to 5. It's a fantastic film in nearly every way. I would say it's revolutionary, and we sure didn't see that on the screen much in the 80s! I'm seriously so grateful this film was a part of my childhood.

Strewth mate, democrats are madder than a cut snake. How the fuck is McConnell supposed to make a video when the poor old bastard has croaked? Wind your neck in!

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

O'KEEFE: You have been writing letters & trying to get updates on the status of McConnell. Have you heard anything? BESHEAR: I have heard absolutely nothing back from Mitch McConnell... all he needs to do is do a video for 2 minutes to the people he's supposed to serve, but he absolutely refuses to

Where do they come up with these incredible ideas?

Henry Dunham’s ‘ENEMIES,’ starring Austin Butler, Jeremy Allen White, Anna Sawai and Hidetoshi Nishijima, is expected to release in 2027. The film follows a relentless detective and an infamous contract killer locked in a deadly game of cat and mouse. #Enemies #AustinButler #JeremyAllenWhite

I think the only way the US Republicans can both survive the midterms and a transition of power from Donald to any one of the personality vacuums that orbit him is for that dumb fuck to be successful assassinated. Huge bump in the polls, massive support behind the new guy and the grift can go on.

Wonderful. It’s been an absolute joy over the years to see that Luke Skywalker AND Mark Hamill truly are the shooting stars of decency that I always hoped they were right from the age of 7 all those years ago.

I’m sure she took great comfort in the, conservatively, 5 minutes of screen time in total the women in The Odyssey received. And there was even that one moment the ‘witch’ spoke of her sister. Take that Bechdel!

This post is unavailable.

This is why your country is absolutely fucked. The media laughing away with their cocktails as a fascist rapist pig gleefully destroys the country. Fucking traitors everyone.

Trump is slurring heavily

This is anti-woke bollocks from Musk, but why don’t the right love the Nolan’s film? - the main family is white - barely any female roles - meatiest female character is a lonely old witch - the black characters all die, except one who’s identical sister dies - the useless white nepo becomes king

What I find most disheartening about the ‘woke’ bullshit surrounding The Odyssey is that it just another mainstream film about a white man’s struggle, his white wife and his white son. I mean, I don’t know if Nolan is specifically a misogynist, but he seems utterly uninterested in women’s stories.

My 7-year old always asks me to play ‘her music’ in the car. This morning she asked for Blue Monday by New Order, and then she sang along with me to Black Sheep by Metric. See, there’s a myriad of ways you can fuck your kids up.

In my macabre head-canon, "The Nightmare Man" is a very bleak sequel to "Firefox". (Spoilers: both premises revolve around a Russian thought-controlled aircraft).

film-authority.com@film-authority.bsky.social

Before it was a browser, Firefox was literally a vehicle for Clint Eastwood in an adaptation of a Craig Thomas techno-thriller. Mitchell Gant steals a high-tech Russian plane; John Dykstra does 80s special effects with a real Empire Strikes Back feel. 4 out of 5 film-authority.com/2026/07/08/f...

The vile human being and ‘typical’ republican senator Lindsey Graham died this day, today,at the age of who-gives-a-fuck. He’s most remembered for whatever horrendous and information emerges about him in the next few days, months but not years.

John Wyndham, born today in 1903. Most unpopular with Them That Know when I was growing up, his reputation now seems, thankfully, to be secure. But then, when you think of the sci-fi classics he wrote - Day Of The Triffids, The Kraken Wakes, The Midwich Cuckoos etc - then it darn well should be.

Apple TV’s hit rate for quality sci-fi is wild. Star City For All Mankind Foundation Silo Severance Murderbot Dark Matter Pluribus Constellation (RIP) Honestly at this stage they should buy The Expanse from Amazon and finish the series.

More people need to start watching Star City. It is so so good. Every week I am amazed all over again.

I'm booked to be the Prime Minister after Andy Burnham, first two weeks in August. Looking at the calendar, we've got Prime Ministers booked through to next June apart from the last two weeks in November. Anyone free? Your chance to make Brexit work?

This feels like it’s going to be quite incredible @2000ad.bsky.social! So what was your most mind blown 2000AD and where were you? Mine is the penultimate Zenith Phase 4, with the Lloigor realising they were trapped which I gasped out loud at whilst reading it in WHSmiths in Brighton town centre.

Literally one of the only celebrities I’ve ever met. Can’t imagine any subsequent unlikely encounters with celebs could ever measure up.

This is Bear, Australia's most famous koala detection dog. After a decade of service, he's retiring. He's located hundreds of injured or displaced koalas after forest fires. We're told his retirement will be filled with rest, cuddles, and maybe a little mischief. 15/10

Typical Bluesky post: ‘I just watched Star Wars (1977) for the first time. Quite enjoyed it but can’t see why it’s such a big deal also the effects seem really dated.’

Remembering Benton Toboggan, best known for role of Dr Brown in the 1923 movie ‘Lorks ave mercy’. Died today in 1926. If he were still alive now he’d be dead.
