Psaki: Why do you think Mike Rogers is so far refusing to agree to a date for this debate? El-Sayed: I mean, I hate to say it, he’s a coward. Rogers the Dodger does not want to actually debate because he knows that he’s an empty suit with no new ideas

Yep... absolutely no conflicts of interest here... nope... not at all.

Good morning Bluesky… just a quick couple of iPhone shots of the morning sky here in the foothills while out walking the pups. Especially now, get out there and enjoy the simple things, the things can help recharge your soul.

These hackers… actually thieves… need to be sent back to day care!

SCOOP: The US Treasury claimed a DOGE's Marco Elez didn’t have ‘write access,’ when he actually did. Sources tell WIRED that his ability to alter code controlling trillions in federal spending was rescinded, days after officials said it didn't exist.

Murphy: "We need to act like a real opposition party in the middle of a constitutional and democracy crisis. That means we should not be moving forward nominees or legislation in the Senate. Ds should not be giving votes to nominee or legislation in the Senate until Rs get serious about this crisis"

"No Democrat should be voting to advance Trump's nominees while all of this stuff is going on," AOC said. “There has to be a political price to pay and we have a responsibility as a party to block everything that is happening while they're setting a literal mash to the federal government."

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

Holy shit… Lil Marco just agreed to a deal that includes exiling US citizens to El Salvador! The private prison lobby has to be going nuts about the potential lost revenue!

There’s also the little thing about a history of humans rights violations in El Salvadorian jails (beatings, torture, deaths…). Jail is no picnic but sending folks there seems to a be a mighty convenient way to have them disappear.

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent. Opportunities are everywhere. Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

Today’s show was my last at CNN. My closing message: It’s never a good time to bow down to a tyrant… don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to fear. Hold on to the truth… and hope.

Corlieu Falls, Lewis Creek Corlieu Falls is one of two waterfalls along the Lewis Creek National Recreation Trail. Located about 7 miles north of "downtown" Oakhurst along Highway 41, it's one of the more popular trails outside Yosemite. #MonochromeMonday #waterfall #b&w #photography

Stars in the Winter Night Scene from late last night. It was cold and clear, which is a good combo for star gazing as long as you can keep dew off your lens and the frigid & damp air from seeping deep into your soul. #stars #astrophotography #nightphotography

Milky Way over Yosemite Valley I do love the days in Yosemite, but I find the nights when I experience it with just the soul of the place and the universe itself the most welcoming and wonderful. #yosemite #nightphotography #photography #milkyway

Looking West Down the Canyon. Yosemite is overly rich with fantastic vistas, both grand and intimate. This is one outside the park, looking west from a turnout on Wawana Road. Over millions of years, the Merced River carved through these ever-changing ridges. #yosemite #photography #monochrome

Sentinel In The Mists Yosemite’s Sentinel Rock viewed from the east after a storm passes through the valley. Like many of Yosmite’s grand geological landmarks, Sentinel Rock presents a very different face to the viewer depending on their vantage point. #yosemite #photography #b&w
