Coupled with the descriptive elements provided by The Nature of Middle-earth, I hope, in some adaptation, we see a book-accurate version of Gollum! Slimy, yes, and pale-skinned but almost entirely *clothed* and only perceived as dark and often hard to see for just that reason. And with pockets!
Additions made by Tolkien in later editions to correct visual depictions of Gollum like Tove Jansson's.

Nigel Farage’s attack on the RNLI and co is a new low even for this bottom-feeder. He wants to prosecute anyone who saves lives of people that he doesn't like. Desperate Farage diverts attention from investigations by pledging laws that can't work. archive.ph/5UYnG/

Beware of finance industry lobbying. It hired PwC (the firm that delivers dud audits) to produce a report, claiming that UK banks face highest rates of tax. The report included taxes not borne by banks. Omitted countries that levy higher rates of taxes. Integrity never gets in the way of profits.

Paid a return visit to Odda's Chapel in Deerhurst (Glos) today to take another look at the marks on the inserted chimney lintel. There are many deliberate burn marks and a fine daisy-wheel, which I'm informed are present in the adjacent houses too. www.apotropaios.co.uk

I don’t think anything sums up how cancerous our media is quite like Janet Murray and the Daily Mail - not being content enough with having harassed Beth Upton out of the country - now harassing her in her new place of residence. They will genuinely not be happy until she’s dead.
Janet Murray is now publicly harassing a random trans woman for choosing to get gender affirming surgery, and her real life friend for donating some money towards funding it. Janet works for the Telegraph and the Mail. This is the state of British journalism. Harassing people for being trans.
